This is bad. Two wrongs don't make a right. Not to minimise the seriousness of #cyberflashing, but sharing with the world intimate/sensitive data/media without the consent of the other party is reprehensible (too).

#BillGates “concludes that people with three backgrounds will be the most in-demand from here on out: #science, #engineering and #economics. […] ‘I do think of basic knowledge of the sciences, #math skills, economics — a lot of #careers in the future will be very demanding on those things,’ Gates says.”

Useful heuristic for life: if you catch yourself expressing ideas similar to these, probabilistic chances are that you are wrong:
👉 “Music nowadays is rubbish.”
👉 “Young people today don't know how to have a good time.”
👉 “Kids are not interested in anything now.”
👉 “The media has become all uniform and partisan — not like in my youth.”
👉 “Where are commitment, creativity, rebellion in these days?”
👉 “This generation will have it worse than my generation.”
Consuming #news about #politics is more similar to {opening a tabloid, looking at bikini pics of a celebrity on Twitter or watching a 10″ clip of some bizarre sporting curiosity} than to {reading an essay or listening to a well-researched podcast}.
Political news are mainly morbidness and supernormal stimulus — not useful knowledge.
@zkat You gave me confidence to do the same 😆 I just moved away from my (personal) inbox everything but a couple dozen messages: > 2,900 messages moved.
