Nice, if you did that in my local park the pidgons would get there first. Great stuff and nice to get people liking wildlife from an early age.
Agreed, Musk and those around him, need to learn actions have consequences. How is he making these decisions alone? Surely the board are meant to overrule poor decision making as part of their duty to hold people to account.
Ah, so now he wants you to produce free content for his dying, unstable platform, after threatening you, on a whim, to shut off your free access. I see.
In response, I will be discontinuing all my projects that rely on Twitter's API, and I advise you all to do the same, rather than let him decide their fate.
Such BS, do not fall for this. The fact that he can change the rules on a whim is enough of a reason to continue with your plans to migrate your bots away from Twitter's unstable platform.
Probably best to just turn your bots off and not let this guy decide their fate.
I’ve just converted a Twitter bot over to a Mastodon bot and it was an absolute breeze 😎
Mastodon’s API is wonderful to work with. If you’re using Node, I’d highly recommend masto.js: https://github.com/neet/masto.js/
Want to kick Instagram to the curb? Pixelfed can replace it!
Here's general Pixelfed instances you can join right now:

* pxlmo.com
* metapixl.com
* pixey.org
* pixel.tchncs.de
Remember: because Pixelfed is part of the Fediverse, you can follow Mastodon account from Pixelfed and Pixelfed accounts from Mastodon 🙂
I should add the image on the left was taken using the USB microscope I was given for Christmas.
At a STEM Group meeting I was given a transistor with the top removed revealing what is inside.
@PariMoonForest Just followed you as you posted the Poll, how are you?
This is why I like fedi, we can make posts, and if we have it wrong or don't appear to understand something, rather than being given lots of abuse, we can be corrected in a civilised manner. Sometimes people not quite understand something, or have the wrong idea, which is fine, it is how others react that can make a real difference.
"Ignorance about an issue is said to be rational when the cost of educating oneself about the issue sufficiently to make an informed decision can outweigh any potential benefit one could reasonably expect to gain from that decision, and so it would be irrational to waste time doing so. This has consequences for the quality of decisions made by large numbers of people, such as in general elections, where the probability of any one vote changing the outcome is very small."
