When the British were exported food from starving Ireland back in the 19th Century, did they run around the ports wrapped up in Union Jacks, speaking bible verses in justification and whooping with joy at the starving Irish?
The wonders of 21st Century media, we see the whole Genocide act played out for us in real time.
I still find business cards handy, with name, contact details etc on,
We need a decentralised alternative to LinkedIn
Having to write things by hand may seen antiquated, but maybe that is a way to separate those who can actually write properly and those who can't. We still do make handwritten notes in many industries, even if they are typed up later, and a doc may have a secretary or PA to do that, even the best one can't type what they can't
@Waitnwallflower @zleap I also hope that these people who aren't necessarily as stupid but have apparently forgotten what Trump stands for and have decided now is the time to take a stand against Biden won't end up being a significant factor...
How can one forget what he stands for he has 4 trials due, insults judges, and every time he opens his mouth it is like watching a sewer outlet, surely people can see he is a bad person.
Example, Ok it is the daily mail but the article does highlight a real issue
“Visitors to the BBC News website will now see a new button saying ‘how we verified this’ underneath images and videos on BBC Verify content.
The new button leads to a ‘content credentials’ feature, which confirms where an image or video has come from and how its authenticity has been verified.”

“The Public Is Rapidly Turning Against AI, Polling Shows”
That an extremely biased poll (76% of the public trusts tech cos? Riiight) couldn’t juice up the numbers on “AI” should tell you something. https://futurism.com/the-byte/public-against-ai-poll
There are two problems that are coming for Mastodon of which apparently an awful lot of people are unaware. These problems are coming for Mastodon not because of anything specific to Mastodon: they come to all growing social media platforms. But for some reason most people haven't noticed them, per se.
The first problem is that scale has social effects. Most technical people know that scale has technological effects. Same thing's true on the social side, too.
Given some of the nonsense on mainstream social media, dangerous challenges such as breathing in toxic chemicals, show how stupid people really are,
I am not on facebook, ticktok etc, so not sure how much of what is going on is discussed, but i am on here and feel it is a great place to discuss these issues openly and with good degree of intelligence.
If your door doesn't have a sign like this, do you even science, bro?!

*once again, I stand here as a small business owner and ask you to boost my shenanigans so that I may afford food and shelter.
So how are so many people voting for him? I can't believe the US people are that stupid, maybe they are?
Maybe Joe Biden should step back allow Kamala Harris to run as president and we get a new VP, even Biden could make a good VP given his experience.
You need someone stronger to take on Trump

As far as I understand, any president can only serve 2 terms in office anyway. This, if he pull off a win will be his 2nd.
I can see the first thing he will do is ensure the 2028 election is not lost again one way to do that is not hold an election or as he has said 'eliminate enemies' so he can't lose.

One British value is rule of law, shame our politicians can't take the lead on that.
