I'm pretty sure that's the best State of the Union address I've ever watched. President Biden showed up and delivered in the clutch. That was a galvanizing call to action and a glittering sermon and a glorious reminder of our potential as a country.

@AnarchoCatgirlism Great info! Another fun fact is that large spaceships lifting off may propel moondust to orbit heights, and enough activity could cause scouring across the surface. It would be ironic if the greatest threat isn't micrometeors, but your neighbor constantly landing and taking off. The first missions need to be for setting up a stable dust-free landing pad.

There is a paper / article about this looking at what happens when space craft blast off from the moon and the damage the dust can cause, I think it has also been likened to Asbestos. So I fully agree.

I agree society is broken, that is part of a wider issue, accountability is surely one part of how to fix it
Things like this don't 'just happen' people have to make the videos to tell people to do these things

I remember this; whilst it was somewhat overblown and had little effect on usage patterns as we got to our later teens, drug usage wasn't normalised as much (I was a raver back in the day and even then we kept very quiet about what we did outside our circle of friends and didn't encourage younger teens to partake, at least until they had finished high school and there was even an element of harm reduction on this scene)

if glue sniffing / solvent abuse had been portrayed as anything fun/positive on kids / youth TV in my younger days, the programme would have been instantly taken off air and the producers would find it very hard to get work in the industry again (this didn't stop producers discussing the subject and warning of the risks)

I don’t want to be governed by a set of right wing ideologues intent on labelling climate action and peace demonstrations as extremist. #tories
It is a graveyard, people really DO need to respect that. It is almost maritime folklore to respect wrecks.
But why bother when some people are just interested in social media likes.
Sometimes it is a difference between a scrap of paper and a card, can be handed out quickly or left on a table at a meeting or conference, too.
