If anyone else put kids through that level of trauma, they would be arrested and charged with CHILD ABUSE.

How much should some blame be put on the people who control access to the site?

One member of the Oversteegen teen girl resistance group during the Nazi occupation said that she and a peer would lure Nazi officers from a bar to the woods.

There, they would make as if good times were to be had, and when the officer undressed, they'd pull out a pistol and kill them.

As the officers were falling, she said the first instinct you had was to catch them, help them up.

And though it was a terrible thing, she had no regrets whatsoever in resisting oppression.

She was fifteen years old.

Microsoft will soon cut off Windows 10 security updates, and says "up yours" to people with (somewhat) older computers who would happily use Windows 11, but now will be blocked

Intel and AMD appreciate this very much.

If you aren't ready to put your older but working-fine computer in a landfill, and further pollute the planet, you have a better option:

It's easier than ever to install and use Ubuntu or Mint or some other Linux system.

@mcc

Do computers generate true random numbers, when they need to be told how to come up with a random number.

If you set the range 1 - 10 and put 10 ping pong balls numbered 1 to 10 in a bag and pick one out, then that to me is randomness, I guess the probability plays in as there is a 1:10 chance of a particular number being taken out.

I am not ADHD but I found with my Open Uni coursework, getting started was fairly easy, tying to get what I wanted to say condensed so it was detailed but also within the word count was much harder.

Another note from another course I did, was 'good is good enough' which is desiged to give us confidence that what we have written is good enough and we don't need to keep editing.

Keep up the good work, I am sure you will be fine.

I have made a blog post for this so will try and promote

We need more of this as it helps the rest of the world understand your situation re healthcare, the NHS may not be perfect but at leasat it works for the people and we can get treatment if needed.

We are so lucky in the UK to have the NHS

For people outside the US, this is a classic example and by no means a rarity.

@Geri

I would look at how that has worked in the UK

So 13 years to conclude what most cyclists could tell you in about 5 miutes.

Never forget, a 13-year study found that protected bike-lanes led to a drastic decline in fatalities for all road users. ALL ROAD USERS. And painted bike-lanes? No safety improvement at all. For sharrows, it’s actually safer to NOT have them. Via @usa.streetsblog.org @nyc.streetsblog.org
