@schratze I think if a qualified doctor advises anyone to lose weight that is advice based on medical science, so unless that person is qualified to assess then their opinion can be questioned.
IIRC Body mass index, a ratio of weight to height thing, was problematic for the Royal Marines in the UK, it didn't take in to account Muscle also weighs something so what they lacked in body fat, then had in Muscles, so their actual BMI said they were obese despite actually being very healthy.
As people have said before on here, follow the science. Your GP / doctor also knows you so can allow for existing medical conditions.

If you get #SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP (Firefox) or #ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH (Chromium) errors when calling https.createServer() in Node.js, you’ve got your options and listener order reversed in your method call. It should be options first, listener second.
(I’m actually working on generating certificate authorities/certificates so I was frantically searching the X.509 code for some obscure bug.)

Does the fact he is popular despite misogynist views, show a deeper issue with society generally? Granted teenagers rebel, so perhaps liking him is a way to rebel, but even that must have some limitations.
If you look at some Football (soccer) players being accused and even convicted of rape, or how some of the rich people behave generally sometimes towards others, that somehow they think the rules don't apply to them. I guess an example here, is how Musk treatment of Twitter employers, sacked as if they are trash that is no longer needed or others sacking 100's of workers over a zoom call.
Are there deeper problems? and perhaps a lack of real role models?

They are affirming that under current law, artwork used to train AI without license or permission is most likely copyright infringement - but they're calling for the public's opinion on whether the law should be changed to make exceptions for use with AI.

Essentially an account set up this way should be able to be considered by a server as “read only” - no “reply” button.
Also the idea of an activity pub “bulk” API in the Server-to-Server API would be good for upstreaming data on boosts back to the sending server.

The profile directory is another way by which your account can reach a wider audience
I would guess we need to try and ensure that any suck instance doesn't get blocked by other instances as they are for public information.
Good conversation to be had around this though.

Will be interesting to see what happens next, however let him say what he wants to say, let the followings keep liking, then tell them where to go when a future employer looks them up on line and decides to put their CV in the bin or terminate their employment.
This could happen, only what then happens is that is everyone else's fault not theirs for clicking like.
