When we normally think of exo planets that are habitable we think about them being in the habitable zone, then the potential make up of the planet (e.g rocky) then the potential atmospheric composiiton, I had not actually thought about magnetic fields protecting the planet, so thanks for this, another thing to think aboiut and consider when just chatting generally about this.

When did #science and #philosophy become two different things? I get the impression that from the ancient greeks up to enlightenment they were the same, at least broadly. I'd imagine someone has been studying this, but I have no idea. I guess it was somewhat gradual, but more importantly I'd like to know how it happened, what was the driver. I got the impression that the term "queer" was considered more of a derogatory term. So it was about not using terms that are deemed offensive. I don't think it drives a wedge, it just means no one actually knows what term we are meant to use.
I guess it is an example of negative reinforcement, If you tell me what term is acceptable. This very much depends on where you are in the world too.

Queer is a word that promotes solidarity between disparate communities under the lgbtq banner and regardless of how anyone personally feels about that word when mainstream media runs "don't say queer" stories they're doing it to drive a wedge between those groups.

This is the problem, some are good people, others are not so good, hence you have those that actually care about people, others in it for the money, others don't get the fact they need to be open about things like product placement or when something is actually being promoted, then you have people like Andrew Tate at the other end, popular as he has lots of money, fast cars but at the same time he is a not really a very good role model.
I am now trying to react, Aluminium foil with white vinegar to see what happens, may have to leave overnight. If it does, I can try with citric acid next.
