Rabin was working toward peace in the 90's but the Israeli far-right assassinated him. Elections and voting are unfortunately not enough to stop them.

@zleap It is not only Israel.
The entire West has bad, subservient, and manipulative governments.
It all comes back to the indifference of the voters, and in the end it is they who suffer, but it is they who choose it.
it just feels like we're never going to live up to the baseline that open source needs to actually thrive. I don't see the current landscape of burnt out maintainers, especially those that are unfortunate enough to have very popular libraries with no corporate backing, as succeeding? People need healthcare. People need UBI. They need childcare. They need elder care.
Not saying we should give up on OS, but sometimes I'm overwhelmed at what we're missing.
I just found this lovely Reverse Engineered port of the Playstation version of Doom, and it's really well made.
It's my favorite console port, and it was weirdly different : It has colored lights, merges Doom 1 and Doom II into a giant game, with mobs from Doom 2 in Episode 1, and subtle changes here and there.
It has new special sounds and music, and so it hits different. Feels much more like a tense horror game.
Would recommend.
