@freemo I just wonder if SCUBA is going to come back as the cause. It took me a while to write a response because I was trying not to fall for something related to buoyancy. If the calculations and models were correct, they have to be redone for a different buoyancy right?
There's a SCUBA place nearby that's linked to the school in Pensacola. I went in for Zinc plates to mitigate rust on a steel structure and I ended up in a conversation for around an hour. I think the ballast could have been used but it ended up with a 4 person conversation about the best way to dive. It's a more complex hobby than one would think.
> I mean I understand it medically but not for a diet. If you are trying to lose fat, why not replace it with muscle? Strengthen the core, improve posture, improve efficiency and keep a healthy percentage of body fat. It's just a good feeling.
As with any diet depending on how you do it will determine if you are going to loose mscle or fat mass. There is nothing unique about keto that is likely to effect that equation. Any good died, if you stick with it will give you a healthy weight anod not just labotomize your muscled.
> Healthy body and healthy mind. I found that my food cravings became more healthy and my time under the surface increased to around 3 minutes. I did get over 3 minutes but I just surfaced and grabbed something until I could see again. Most of this is irrelevant but keep up the good work.
good is not inherently healthy or unhealthy. Within the context of your overall diet, sure you have healthy and unhealthy diets. But any food, in the right perportion, is ealthy as part of the right diet.
@thendrix New features! Lagging is just dramatic pause without cause.
@freemo {1,4} and {2,3} are closely related. {2,3,4} existed alongside each other and {1} was at least somewhat common to hear about in the Golden Age of Islam. They could all be considered to be Abrahamic. With {1} it would be difficult to argue that point except for the beliefs and customs of {2,3,4} influencing {1} where it adopts or rejects them. [Just wait for the end.]
In the modern world, {1} is largely a product of {2,3,4} and they should be included in a larger set(foreshadowing). The cultures of all 4 are rich. They have nurtured science in different ways. The idea of a god being an alien isn't explicitly denounced. This would make an argument for {1} being in {2,3,4} as it's not a god but not necessarily as it would be a higher power.
So let's take the set T as {2,3,4}. The Powerset P(T) is {{0},{2},{3},{4},{2,3},{2,4},{3,4},{2,3,4}} and this is the set of all subsets of T. It's Abelian Group(Ignore the numbers) so it contains an identity and the sets are their own inverse when using symmetric difference. The number of subsets is 8 including the null set. Could {1} be considered like the null set? Look at the Elements of T and of P(T). What would a null set be if it's the identity element? So e / a = a and a / a = e. So why does {1} fit the description of the null set. It does essentially because I said so and typed this up for a point.
It's not possible to be proven with Mathematics but the patterns of the Powerset resemble the influence of religions on each other. Some are unchanged and others are combinations. Why the weird Mathematics? The Null Set and it being the identity. In P(T) there is one element that doesn't appear apart from itself. It essentially means that it has nothing in common.
The most interesting thing about {1,2,3,4} is that {1} can be viewed as the null set which it would fit the definition for. This also means the set of all subsets of {2,3,4} would include the null set which would be the identity element. So within the set of religions there would be a non religion sub set.
Watching "Dr who the star beast".. they leaned a bit heavier into the woke side of things, but while a bit on the heavy side I liked it. Right until the end, the end they said something like "We have a power a male-presenting time-lord will never have... letting go". Got that was cringe, sexist, and ruined it.
@freemo I don't understand Keto. It sounds like weightlifting meal prep but missing a few thousand calories.
I mean I understand it medically but not for a diet. If you are trying to lose fat, why not replace it with muscle? Strengthen the core, improve posture, improve efficiency and keep a healthy percentage of body fat. It's just a good feeling.

I have to say its pretty nice being able to eat a five guys burger for dinner with bacon and literally be completely within the bounds of my diet and not needing to cheat at all.
I still wish it had a damn bun though!
And the creator of NTP passed away recently.
Thank you Dave Mills
@thendrix It sounds similar to dealing with different CPU architectures and ISAs. It's very frustrating.

@thor That's cool. What did they have to say?
Last toot I said I'm going to be employed. It's a quick decision, both to me and to the company. It's a fairly small company, around 30 people including the programmers and administrators. And it's not a high salary job (with the current FX rate, it's around 1k USD pre-tax), but the environment is very people-friendly, not like big companies where everyone is bonded by the rules. You need to go home and handle something? Sure, bring your laptop and they'll count you as working from home. If you really can't handle both, you can just ask and normally you get several days off.
The most important factor to make me decide to work there is no frequent overtime working. There will be overtime working, but most of them are predictable and you will be informed beforehand. And you can choose if you want to get money compensation or save it as an extra holiday and use it later. I don't know about other areas, but in China, man, this is the best you can ask for.

The person who interviewed me is one of the bosses charges the tech things. I can tell he knows programming since we can understand what we're talking: blockchain, LLM, JVM, etc. It's a delightful interview. But that day is Friday and it's almost 5 pm (4:30). So we agree to meet on Monday. I'll show up in the morning and they do the rest, contract, etc.
I hope everything goes well. And thanks to you, my friends, for bearing my nonsense in the past year and congrate me on my (possiblely) new job.
@thor It would be terrible if they clicked on a malicious attachment. ![]()
