Does anyone else have different belt notches for "empty pants" vs "pants loaded with phone and keys"?

Commander Dave Scott of Apollo 15 validates Galileo's theory on the Moon by dropping a hammer and a feather, proving that objects fall at the same speed, independent of their mass.

Rufo: I'll target her specifically because she is Black

Rufo: Hey media here's the smear
Media: 700 STORIES A DAY ABOUT THIS FOR SOME UNKNOWABLE REASON

Rufo: haha one down, more to come
Media: congrats stranger; would you like an op-ed?
Rufo: sure, I'll use it to brag

Yet again Rufo spills the entire plot like he's got Bond suspended over a pool full of sharks — and somehow it doesn't occur to anyone to think "hey, maybe we shouldn't listen to this manipulative opportunist any more."

A lot of guys suddenly pretending to care about "academic plagiarism" like they cared about "ethics in gaming journalism."

I could absolutely get behind this.

@arraybolt3 after 25 years of working with a half dozen linux flavours, my overall response is:

it's a great operating system when i'm in the mood to tinker with the operating system and not get any work done

it's the worst possible operating system when i need to get some work done, and the operating system should be transparent

@arraybolt3 I used Linux as my daily driver for over 10 years. When I bought a new desktop computer it came with Windows, so I figured I'd give it an honest try again.

It's worked great. I don't miss the days of programs 90% working, or having to edit config files to get my monitor to stop flickering, or trying to play Rocksmith only to find the peripheral cable won't work in Linux.

It was the steady stream of small issues that beat me down. Windows has been plug-and-play.
