I am currently actively moving away from #Autodesk products, and the main reason is because of their predatory pricing.
Did you know Autodesk wants to monitor your usage and charge you for *each day* that you want to use their products? And they want you to buy their own special currency to do so, just like shitty F2P phone apps. How dystopian is that?
Especially when #Blender exists as a #FOSS option. Fuck Autodesk.

To right-wingers, the “degenerates” are never bigots or abusers, but people simply exercising their freedom & happiness outside the current status quo.

Friendly reminder: the best way to utilize all the greatest features of your smart TV is to never hook it to a network at all.
Whether it's updates to terms blocking your usage or displaying ads or adding whole new areas for ads: never. connect. it. Treat it like a monitor.
Use some other device to stream from. Those devices are not empowered to screw you nearly as much because it's a much lower bar to toss something 10x cheaper in the trash and replace it if they try.
Fun Fact: Did you know that human beings, at one time, ate bread as a food on its own instead of as a delivery vehicle for meat and sauce?

Maybe the reason #AI doesn't bother me as much as artists and writers is because I come from the world of #VideoGames.
We've had plenty of time to adjust to how shitty procedural generation algorithms are without a human hand to guide them.
There's a reason why No Man's Sky was bullshit at launch and took additional years of HUMAN effort to make worthwhile.
These are tools. If you let the tools loose, they'll make worthless content. It's only with the guidance and hard work of a human that they can make anything approaching true art.
