Hey #Linux people: Are nightly reboots a needed thing for Linux Desktop environments? I've got quite a few apps that seem to go wonky if I leave them running all night.

One example is #VLC, which I normally consider extremely reliable, taking up nearly 100% of the CPU if I leave it paused overnight. (I've got the flathub version, on #Fedora 40, if that matters)

I'm not a big photographer, but I try my hand occasionally and this is probably my favorite photo. From a technical standpoint, it's a mess; blurry, noisy, awful.

But it was just the right place at the right time.

We need to normalize calling the #opinions section of any #newspaper "tabloids".

If someone posts the latest political opinion from a big paper, they should get a dozen replies asking them incredulously why they're reading the #tabloids.

If you share an opinion piece, society should treat you like you just announced that you watch TMZ.
