Perhaps having U.S. space transport and classified space-based security operations dependent on a chaotic fascism-supporting billionaire is problematic. Also, if you are using Starlink, you're now supporting Trump and everything that means. And if you buy a Tesla now, you can't claim "you didn't know" that they're as much a part of fascism as the original VW was part of the Nazis.

This is just one version of the idea, but since it already has traction with Senate Democrats, it is worth a closer look as a harbinger of what Biden may be willing to get behind. Where I'm at:
I cannot believe we are fielding an 81 year old who can barely speak in complete sentences against the greatest fascist threat our country has ever faced in modern times.

I fucking hate the Democratic Party for this.
I'll vote against Trump if I have to step across burning coals, but I wish I was voting for something instead of a fucking 81 year old bandaid that keeps falling off every other hour.
It goes without saying that political violence is reprehensible, and it is therefore good that today's example of it was unsuccessful.
But in addition to that, I'm not sure this country could handle Trump as a martyr. Any attempt of violence against him, successful or not, only strengthens his cause.
He and his ideology *must* be defeated peacefully.

I was all for #Biden dropping out to make room for a better candidate, but it's too late now. His hubris was overwhelming and he stuck around long enough that he's forced us to keep him on the ticket.
In doing so, he may have doomed our country and our democracy.
All we can do now is rally behind him, knowing that the people in the middle are probably going to vote for #Trump, just because he can actually speak somewhat coherently.
Well, that and we should probably stock up on ammunition, so we can go down fighting instead of passively being dragged to the gulag by goose-stepping thugs.

I'm one of the biggest #FreeSpeech advocates in the country and even I recognize that "allowing political expression" is much lower on the priority list than "avoiding serious risks to human rights". The fact that you have to "weigh" the two means that you have no fucking clue what you're doing.
