I am not happy, and I am not inclined to give those participating the "benefit of a doubt." @freemo may have a link to something "suitable for a press release," but I'm not in a position to clarify.
I see too many people being the monster they claim they are fighting. Every time... Every GOD DAMNED FUCKING TIME I wonder if I'm being just a bit too dark and cynical, I have this shit to remind me I need to lower my expectations a little more.

I'm making a relative dangerous trek through a mountain pass in Canada to reunite with my wife. She's there helping her daughter through a rough divorce from a pathological narcissist who, because of circumstances, continues to live under the same roof. I'm in fear of their lives, and I'm not terribly certain of mine and that of my wife's son who will soon join me on the trek. At least my mom isn't dying across the country anymore, she's stable and may go home tomorrow.
So at the moment, I'm inclined to have those claiming to fight monsters own being the monster.

@Romaq @LouisIngenthron @freemo I been through hereditary male depression. First, don't get upset with things you can't change. That is insufficient, but a good thing. Second, drop all alcohol for a while (I love a good whiskey). Then go to your doctor for a trial of anti-depressant. That's the only thing that works. Your brain actually has shrunken happy nodes (whatever) seen on scans. Brain serotonin is a vital nutrient. However, no 'red blooded' male ever goes to the doctor. Sad, and then they shoot.

@Romaq @LouisIngenthron @freemo I have had yo-yo serotonin since 40 years old. That's when it comes in. The reason evolution hasn't killed it, is because of the late onset. Before that, the genetic defect makes you the world's best programmer, poet, artist etc. All those guys used to blow their heads off in the old days. Now, there is no reluctance to take others with you. This just happened near us.
