I'm interested in being just not civil, but excellent in interacting with others of different viewpoints in an online world where we can so viciously defend our echo chambers and be so dismissive of other perspectives.
Because this is less and less possible here, I'm largely offline and am not sure if I'll be returning. It was fun back when civility was a trend on qoto.

@peterdrake A sad day indeed when Colorado cedes it's electoral college votes to California.
Our power was out for more than 12 hours with the blizzard that hit Denver metro yesterday. Glad our home has a wood burning fireplace because it's old enough to be grandfathered into the regulations that ban them.
I feel for those in newer homes where the only means of heat in a situation like this are outlawed.

Employee income stays the same as whole foods raises to $15/hour pay and slashes hours while requiring the same amount of work done in fewer hours.
So employees get paid the same for contributing the same value. They just have to do so faster now.
How is the same pay now a "livable wage"? It's almost like those demanding arbitrary raises to arbitrary dollar amounts per hour don't understand how this works.

Lack of backstory, character development, contribution to the greater MCU, any love interest....or for that matter any relationship of consequence, etc. Just lacking most of what makes any story a good story.
But there was girl power to substitute for all of that. So a female with no great back story, character development, etc.

US states renamed for countries with similar GDPs.
@Saederup92 is having any view racist or having certain views? For example, one might think that people from Spain speak Spanish, or that people from any certain culture of subculture think a certain way or do things a certain way. Or that a Thai restaurant would serve Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles because that's food that people from Thailand likely make.
Are these racist?
