During the winter, the UN mission documented the execution of 32 Ukrainian prisoners of war. Additionally, experts conducted interviews with 60 Ukrainian military personnel who were recently released from captivity, discovering that most had endured sexual violence.
The head of the Bell Mission reported that nearly all respondents stated that Russian military personnel and officials tortured prisoners. This included beatings, electric shocks, prolonged uncomfortable positions, and threats of execution or mock executions.
The Mission's report also details Russian administration violence against residents of occupied Ukrainian territories. This includes civilian killings, arbitrary detentions, and constraints on freedom of expression.
The United States has extended sanctions against the Russian Federation for its involvement in cyberattacks for another year, according to the White House.
The Biden administration asserts that significant malicious activity in cyberspace still poses an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security, foreign policy, and economy of the United States.
"As a result, the state of emergency declared on April 1, 2015, should be maintained beyond April 1, 2024," stated the US president's administration.
The Coalition of Armored Vehicles in Support of Ukraine was established in Warsaw under the leadership of Poland and Germany and with the support of Great Britain, Sweden and Italy, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported.
At the inaugural meeting, representatives of the participating countries formulated a unified position on strengthening the technical capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with specific models of armored vehicles and organizing their maintenance system.
Four syndicates were formed within the coalition, each of which includes a Ukrainian representative and is assigned specific tasks:
▫️Procurement of weapons and ammunition for Western armored vehicles.
▫️Maintenance and repair.
▫️Training of crews and technical personnel.
▫️Development of effective tactics for the use of armored vehicles on the battlefield.
Deputy Defense Minister Ivan Havrylyuk commented: "This initiative by our allies is crucial given the challenges the Armed Forces face in repairing foreign armored vehicles. With the help of our allies, we aim to establish an efficient repair infrastructure for Western armored vehicles in Ukraine as soon as possible.
The newly formed coalition will develop a roadmap in line with the development strategy of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In the long term, member countries will help shape the future armored fleet of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and foster an innovative industrial partnership with Ukraine.

❗️ SBU Head Malyuk told the details of the liquidations of Kiva, Tatarsky, Prilepin and others
Malyuk did not officially confirm that the SBU was behind the liquidation of a number of war criminals, but he told many interesting details. According to the head of the Service, fair punishment has caught up with all the scoundrels:
▪️External Deputy Kiva - in the form of bullets with a caliber of 9×19 mm with a control bullet to the head. (The pro-Russian politician and former Ukrainian MP Ilya Kyva was found dead in a Moscow suburb in December 2023 - shot in the head.)
▪️Propagandist and murderer Tatarsky - in the form of a gift bust stuffed with explosives. (Vladlen Tatarsky, real name Maxim Yuryevich Fomin, was a participant in the russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, a military blogger and a convicted bank robber. He propagated the expansive policy of the russian leadership. In April 2023 he was the victim of a bomb attack.)
▪️Minister of Internal Affairs so-called “LPR” Kornet “found” explosives in a barbershop while shaving. (Ihor Kornet, who was a former investigator for the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs before joining pro-Russian militants, was the head of the "LPR Ministry of Internal Affairs". On May 15 2023 he was seriously injured due to an explosion at a barbershop in central Luhansk.)
▪️Prosecutor General so-called “LPR” Gorenko literally “burned out at work” from 800 grams of plastic. (The Prosecutor-General of the LPR Sergei Gorenko and his deputy Ekaterina Steglenko were killed by a bomb blast at their offices on September 16, 2022.)
▪️War criminal Prilepin exploded in a mini anti-tank car. He remained alive, but without his genitals. (Zakhar Prilepin, a prominent nationalist writer and supporter of russia's invasion, broke both his legs in a car explosion on May 6, 2023. The bomb was under the passenger seat and killed his friend Alexander Shubin, who was supposed to be driving instead of Prilepin.)
Easter appeal from Ukrainian activists: Rewe and Edeka should boycott Milka products
“Let’s make Easter more tender,” is Milka’s advertising slogan. In keeping with this, Ukrainian activists have called on Rewe and Edeka, two of the biggest players on the German market, to ban the company's products from their shelves.
For months, Ukrainian activists have been drawing attention to the russian business of Mondelez, the US parent company behind Milka. Shortly before Easter, they are now calling on the two supermarket giants to remove the chocolate from their offerings.
Despite promises to reduce operations in russia, Mondelez continues to operate three factories in the country. The activists criticize statements made by Mondelez boss Dirk Van de Put in the “Financial Times” in February. Van de Put had said he did not believe investors “morally cared” whether companies continued doing business in russia. There was no pressure from investors on Mondelez to withdraw from there.
Rewe and Edeka removed all products manufactured in russia from the shelves of their supermarkets shortly after the attack on Ukraine in February 2022. The activists say that they “count on your support to show Mondelez that morality has a place in business, especially as we consider that russia continues to commit war crimes in Ukraine.”
The Ukrainian government's National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NACP) placed Milka's parent company on its list of "international sponsors of war" last May. In addition to Milka, the Mondelez food group, which has its international headquarters in Chicago, also owns brands such as Oreo, Toblerone and Ritz.
