Someone really needs to build some sort of logarithmic volume filter into linux... a way to keep the normal volume scenes loud enough to hear but reduce the volume on the loud scenes. This way you can listen to a movie in the middle of the night and not annoy your neighbors and not need to keep lowering it everytime an action scene hits.... how is this not a thing already!

@pollak @mindstalk @spfannenschmidt Similar symptoms between the flu or covid will cause people to want to know what exactly they have. Years past I didn’t get tested as I just assumed it was the flu but now I’ll get tested to verify. I’m sure others out there are thinking the same, which results in increased testing.
