Our pocket computers have AWESOME specs -- multi core, high rez displays. Lots of RAM and Storage, fast IP connections.

BUT opsystem choices are VERY limited and SH1TTY. Looking at , iOS.

Miss , love it. Still have Lumias, great photos always.

I have Classical Music station, no ads, streaming constantly here as I red and work.

And even that, sometimes I turn off when I feel the need for deep concentration.

Tried and this REALLY works.

Copies over all of your Facebook photos. Creates Copies of the Albuns they were placed in, with the Dates.

Very nice -- and makes closing a FB account for Good an easier option. Lovely!

Available in USA and Canada since April 20, I beleive other countries - possibly EU ones as well.

High on the Suggestions & Requests list, at least for me.

Adding Rich Text, support would :

* make post much nicer on the eyes (for those who care to use it, an optional feature)
* Make text EASIER to read, for everyone (assuming active posters used it)
* and make another degree BETTER than the corporate networks.

Could it be done?

* YES, it is already supported in some cases -- in GlitchSocial and Pleroma instances.
* The GlitchSoc source code is available, and this could be back-ported to mastodon saving much effort.

And -- What about the CLIENT side to support this?

* Some clients already DO support this; the snapshot below shows a pretty Test post, made via and displayed in Pinafore -- pinafore.social
* Husky Android client has Rich Text support built in too.
* GlitchSoc and Pleroma FE also support it natively.

See the image in this post -- a Test with various Rich Text features applied, all done via a GlitchSocial instance where a friend has an account.

52 new users were welcomed into this past week.

And I am quite happy we stopped the adding huge number, which had NO RELATION to this instance's focus and theme.

And in the majority of cases, added ZERO posts, or added content that violated our Terms of Conduct (spammers, ads, escort services, prostitutes, etc) leading to their Deletion from the user base.

Yey for an improvement. Thanks @freemo and @arteteco, steady as she goes.
