Oooh. That makes it 10% worse. 😜
Thank you for the update. Hnnestly, this thought always humbled me.
There are many, many people, everyone's experiences are so different.
@11112011
@11112011 LOL... Txs.
@11112011 Even now, you are one, out of 7 Billion.
7,000,000,000 persons.
Billion is a big number. Feel special still? 😉 🙄
@iamo I liked it too, these Yukon Gold yellow potatoes are my favourites.
Features and details, links, longish.
From the Fedilab page at F-Droid.org:
"Fedilab is a multifunctional Android client to access the distributed Fediverse, consisting of micro blogging, photo sharing and video hosting.

The app has advanced features (especially for Pleroma and Mastodon):
- Multi-accounts support
- Schedule messages from the device
- Schedule boosts
- Bookmark messages
- Follow and interact with remote instances
- Timed mute accounts
- Cross-account actions with a long press
- Translation feature
- Art timelines
- Video timelines"
** Important Note -- TRANSLATION support, handy if you need help with a non native language. Unique, at this point, I believe.
You can get it from the Google Play store, where it COSTS $3.29 USD
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.fedilab.android
OR -- you can get it FREE of charge, donnations accepted, from F-Droid :
https://f-droid.org/packages/fr.gouv.etalab.mastodon/
F-Droid is easiest if you install their client app - from there you will have access to many interesting and clean Open Source Apps.
You CAN get an apk from their page, and Side Load on your device if desired. Android 5 minimum version required.
If I posted text posts about anything I cared about on facebook the algorithm would not show it to almost anyone thats even following me. It would literally just drop off the radar and be forgotten. I post a random thought here and people from around the world actually have a chance to respond. That is powerful. That cant be underplayed. The fact that we dont have to worry whether our messages have financial viability makes our ideas stronger. Our voices ring.
Mash Potatoes, no cream or butter recipe!
"If you think cream and butter are required to make amazing mashed potatoes, then this recipe might surprise you. It calls for Yukon Gold potatoes, which are naturally creamier than russets and need only to be mashed with a little of their cooking water to become rich and fluffy. "

@iamo I haven't seen this fedilab client. Tried a couple of other ones, liked Pinafore a lot for its speed.
No translation on them though. Got to check out fedilab. ![]()
Old Missile Bunker for sale, ex-US Air Force
12 Acres of desert land near Tucson, Arizona, USA, including a Cold War era Titan II missile silo underground.
Asking price, USD$395 K
A bit of a Fixer Upper, but you can see a pristine one at the Titan II Museum nearby :
@iamo I have seen one at the brdsite, iamo, but not in mastodon itself yet. I heard it might come in the future.
Yes Album cover by Roger Dean.
Loved the group. Back when music was more than the sound you heard, album art being trippy like this.

@iamo Great post, thank you!

@rodolpho I just tuned out of the fedi for a bit and started catching up with my To Do tabs.
Read this page I linked above, and liked his report, which was veiledly critical of many organizations and people. Other than Gab and it's members.
I imagined the 'comments' being left by anonymous people in the manner described in the article, which is enabled by the extension and now by the forked version of the Brave browsers Gab has released, those comments would be what I would consider awful.
A screenshot in the article confirmed my assumption, more or less. This whole thing would be a gift for troll farms working on influencing people and policy in the western countries.
@Full_marx , you might want to read this?
@mngrif Usually automatic transmissions have one single program on how and when to shift. You are stuck with that, like or not. It's good if you are in congested traffic, less demanding on you.
Some more advanced models might offer a choice of driving modes, like normal, cruising, sportier, which will change the way shifting happens - taking it to a higher rpm before upshifting, if you were on a sportier mode, for example.
Yeah, it automatics are the most common cars around, a standard model will cost more.
In Europe I found the opposite, and was glad to enjoy a nice Skoda Flavia wagon, really cool car on the twisty mountain roads I drove for the first time there. 6 sp manual.

BlueStacks Version Upgrade! #Android on #Windows
And then, once you isntalled and start using it for the first time, in a few minutes a crash. 😞
...and you realize you FORGOT the cautious ways of sys admin people who rather not be trying to Fix What Ain't Broken.
A good thing to keep in mind.
Was using ~14% processor power without any Android app in use at the time - just for BlueStacks environment. That is lots.
@alexchejlyk It looks a lot like twitter, but has a much better membership.
Have you used Mastodon before? there is a good guide at this page:
