@freemo That is indeed nice, but it would depend on someone taking the lead, and becoming a Content creator - it's more work than being a passive observer, one click here and there as many people prefer.

This is not TV of course, and some of us ARE active Content Creators. I an take on a project, if I am interested in the theme, personally, to put the time and effort into it.

But your suggestion, of a STEM focused one, could take rotating Leaders as the week's coordinators; so that no one burns out (thinking about me, here, already stretched thin)

We can work on that suggestion, yes.

But for now, I would like to see if Sniper Week draws some response fire. LOL...

Had an idea, controversial, but what you all think?

project idea : Sniper Week

contents : posts all over the place, open to Fediverse, and tagged with a proper tag (to be decided).

* bio of famous snipers.
* cool arms used
* written materials (I have a German Snipers training manual, WWII vintage)
* photos, links to videos on different places.

And all done in the interest of , and general .

Without attitude. Without offending anyone, hopefully. CW if needed.

@realcaseyrollins@mstdn.social I have used not Lineage, but the ancestor project -- CyanogenMod.

Still have it, on two of my tablets. older gen and getting left behind by escalating software demands.

Loved it -- one was a Gingerbread build, the other is KitKat based, v.4.4

Lineage supports many models, but not my exact model, and I am afraid to break a well performing device. Xiao Mi's been good in upgrading and releasing newer versions -- from 9.0 originallly, not on v.11 here.

@gioypi There are projects in development, developers particularly making big strides.

And some others; the difficulty is making sure our own devices are exactly matched by an OS image, or bricking results. :(

Used to do android tablets evals and reports, but no longer. Android tablets have never achieved their potential, Google didn't care.
