@Rovine
Yes, the book I mentioned above, a recent novel series, is based on an English publication of the 1600's, which was an actual witch hunting manual. Many times these could be aimed at acquiring the victim's property, which the appointed judge (hugely profitable job) could dispose at their discretion.

Very interesting that you have those interests. Must be wonderful reading.

I like Alchemy a lot too.

@Rovine
Uhm... Remember the Salem Trials?

And Holly Inquisition in Europe?

Hundreds died.

"A Discovery of Witches" is a nice series of books that I really enjoyed reading. There's a TV series by Sky TV too, very well made.

Intersting that the #3 instance on the list is a small one - they must have been having BIG growth to make it up that spot.

The exposure at the top spots, along with the bigger images for it also help the incumbents.

@Rovine
I like wizardry too, but real ones don't go out advertising like that. 😉

@biologyshyology Ooooh. :sorryglasses: 😟

That is a LOT on your plate. Hope it all goes well. :thumbsup_hmn_h2:

@biologyshyology Great fun, to discover something or create something from scratch. :thumbsup_hmn_h2:

@freemo Oh, amazing!

The gas is totally vented and lost, everytime then? Nice to learn something new, TY.
@Karthikdeva

@peterdrake That is indeed perplexing. 😟

I visited the wiki page you posted the other day, and it's very nice. Well done, sir. :thumbsup_hmn_h2:

@Iambharani @freemo @users @surasanji Welcome, new friend. Nice photo, family.

A tea plantation, lovely with the mist behind. Enjoy your stay! :blobsmilehappyeyes:

@Karthikdeva "Too many books, not enough time" is a popular variation on the theme.

Nowadays I have the time, but the attention needed to sit or lay down for hours and not get distracted seems more difficult to hold.

I think the neutron star wouldn't be too exciting, unlike a star going Nova, always a show.

For me it would be the change to travel to and across the center of a galaxy. Would pay close attention, to avoid the black holes usually sitting there, which RP is himself visiting. :wink:

Which would be quite a trip, not only if we could survive it, but comprehend what happened.

@freemo Interesting.

So, you would use Buthane as a solvent, then pressurize it to the range where it's liquid, heat it to boil off the oils and then cool the vapours, like a distiller, right?

Would the buthane stay behind in the boil pot?
@Karthikdeva

@freemo
Very interesting! I had seen mentions of using Buthane for extracting THC and CBD oils from non-flower parts of cannabis plants. Clippings, leaves, etc.

That apparently can generate significant returns, people growing hemp for example, which has no thc but some cbd.

That looks really good. Enjoyed seeing the wrench still on the table. Reminded of walking by the Physics building and their offices full or electronics and tools around, to build their equipment.

So it will extract what, some substance out of a solution?
