It is a very vulnerable area, in a fight you might be ripped open by an opponent's claws if your belly is exposed.

I think that's why they react in defense mode, most of the time, instinctively.

@georgia

@mewmew

That is a good idea!

I have tons of individual cats who I follow at birdsite, some are nicer than others, the way their accounts are handled.

Don't like the poor kitties with ridiculous outfits, but there are many wonderful pictures.

There’s a durability to older technology, aside from that capacitor debacle from the 90s. I wonder if older tech in some form will be one of few functioning remnants decades or a century from now

There’s a project called Collapse OS to “Bootstrap post-collapse technology” collapseos.org

Basically tools and programs for the Z80, a proven workhorse for decades available as scavenged parts by the millions

Very #Cyberpunk

BTW this is a paraphrase of a quote by Shodan from System Shock 2

That was quick, Well done, guys.

Not frequent to find the door open like that. :blobcheer:

I don't know, tummy rub is ultimate trust level. Not for everyone, ask any feline.

HT is a good bunch, very talkative fellows, varied interests, good place to learn about Security, networking, etc. Recommended. 👍

Nice that you are allowing new regs.

@iankenway Election Day UK tomorrow, good luck to our brothers and sisters on the Progressive side of the fence.

UK politics

"I’m worried about the return of authoritarian rule. I’m worried about the deepening divisions in society. I’m worried about the wildfire spread of disinformation and the catastrophic collapse in public standards and public discourse. I’m worried about the growth in anti-intellectualism and the seismic shift in politics away from pragmatism towards naked ideology. I’m worried about the normalisation of racism..."

Great post. These things worry me a lot too 😞

@georgia
Well, you post a lot of nice kitties, and people can discover the other users from your boosts and posts.

So... Can't have too many cat pics, imo. 😺 Meow....

I really enjoyed traveling in Portugal, was there and in Southern Spain for 2 months. 😮

Great fun, first time visiting Europe, and I loved it. ❤️ 🇪🇺

Lisbon itself I prefered to walk, the city is beautiful to wander around, has many historical neighbourhoods, a lot of hills. And traffic in the busier streets and avenues.

They have wonderful public transit - including the Trams, the famous 'Bondes' (in Brazilian speak), there called 'Elétricos'.

Riding these in some of the hilly routes is pure fun, and very popular with tourists.

Got to be at the start of the line early, so you can enjpy a ride in the small trams without the crowding and lines that form later.

Cycling in Portugal is good, but you need some traveling and riding experience as the roads don't have much shoulders, you need to change from road to raod to reach a destination.

But doable, and camping is superb all over the country.

I can write a whole guidebook about it, and probably will, lol. 😜

I visited 3 times, the first bike touring, the other two backpacking, which makes it easier to hop on the trains and intercity buses; but you lose some of the freedom of the touring bike, which would take me anywhere I wanted to.

some more rural places, there might be less options of public transport, there the bike will shine.
