This time I'm posting "Song to the Siren" by Sinead O'Connor. Now I chose this version for one reason, and that is that it's my favorite.
Tim Buckley was the first, and wrote this song I believe. While This Mortal Coil's cover is the most well known version. Elizabeth Fraser of the Cocteau Twins sang on the This Mortal Coil song and I recommend giving that a listen to also.

Y’all this is Silver Apples! They’re from the 60s but used oscillators from WW2 and based their music around patterns instead instead of beats so they sound very modern with a early psychedelic vibe.

@theonlysimonandorgarfunkel I know it’s harder than it seems. Personally I’d forgo with having to go to the restroom, the no sleep part is next. Flight would be incredible and love would bring peace of mind.

@trinsec I’m torn most between not having to go to the bathroom and not having to sleep. Flight and love are about the same on the real scale for me.

So I’m sitting outside thinking to myself that I know what I want in life, but do I really. These are 4 things I’m truly torn between.
1. Not having to sleep with no I’ll affects. No going crazy, restlessness, mental fatigue.
2. Not having to go to the a bathroom with no I’ll affects. Your body is one of the most efficient energy managers in the universe and you can eat and drink and your body will use everything with no waste or damage to the body for not going.
3. The gift of flight. You can have your eyes open the whole time. You also have increased strength for the Gs you pull, landing, and hitting things in the air. Not to crazy with the strength though.
4. Meeting your true love. You know who they are and have just as good a chance as any as making it work. You can’t make them fall in love with you.
What do you choose?

@trinsec yeah I torrented a lot of movies back in the day and found some great obscure films that you have to pay for now on streaming sites. One thing though, I think Metropolis is free on Prime and it’s basically the original sci-fi movie from the 20s. It still really holds up today if you can deal with no audio dialog
