@splitshockvirus I figured most of the time they wont even see it... So what i kinda expect is ill be shopping and they see it half way through or something and throw a fit.
I figured most of the time they won't even see it.
Yes, I recommend micro 9s those are really concealable.
I have a feeling anyone who sees it on me will get offended or scared, maybe not though, I guess we will see.
Just don't make big deal about it and you'll be fine, as long as you are in a place that you are legally allowed to be it shouldn't be an issue. Don't brandish or threaten people, but that goes without saying.
@splitshockvirus Yea I suspect it will just be people kicking me out of places if they notice it.
Yeah but you'll want to familiarize yourself with your state's laws regarding no weapons sign some state's they are not legally enforceable, and some of them have criminal punishment on violation. But keep in mind that even in a state that does not enforce weapons signs the property owner can still ask you to leave, and if you refuse you can be charged with trespassing or armed trespassing if they really don't like you.
This is a good site to get a aggregate for state laws when traveling and CCW reciprocity https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/resources/ccw_reciprocity_map
I use it constantly.
Again you are a second class in the eyes of the law, know your rights what is legal and what not
@splitshockvirus thanks i will check it out!
@mia The Judge is for in-bedroom defense only. So Anyone I shoot will be pretty close indeed and it is perfect for that purpose.
My carry would not be the Judge, it would be the HK VP9
@mia The Judge really only has one valid use, and it is great for that use... short-distance in-bedroom defense with the first shot (shotgun) and then the colt 45 bullets to put the person down after you disabled them. Outside of that one scenario its only use is witht he colt 45, and frankly there are better guns for that bullet alone.
@freemo I know a person who got one. It is a whole lifestyle. He has, for example, a selection of shirts designed specifically for the purpose. They look like button up shirts but actually have snaps that will pop open if they get pulled in the process of drawing. He also has specific "second call" insurance, i.e. if you ever get into a situation you call 911 and then this insurance and then you shut up.
@mike805 In my case I am just at high risk as a target right now.. So im not into the lifestyle or anything, sounds like a hassle, but im stuck carrying for a while for sure.
@freemo There are guns in the Netherlands?
@olives Not at my Dutch home at the moment, in the USA right now.
@shuttersparks
Well, for me 'will ... every day' is close to permanently. ;) It could be temporarily permanent (as long as he's in USA). :P
People are trying to kill me. So the USA and access to guns seems the safest choice
@freemo
What'd you do that people are actively trying to kill you now? 👀
Yes i did some whistleblowing on corruption and it pissed off some people.
Who said the mafia wasnt involved? Sadly this appears to be a bit of both.
@freemo Was just saying rich ppl have more resources, hence more danger than just one state. Hope you're safe, and your gf and other loved ones too.
@admitsWrongIfProven Thank you... now that im well armed I am much safer. Thank god for easy access to guns, may have saved my life.
@freemo Was there an attack you repelled? Or is it more of an emotional thing? Or assuming attackers would not dare if you can fight back?
What about loved ones, is there a riak? You wrote about a gf, sufficient degree of separation there?
@admitsWrongIfProven Before i had my hand gun i was physically assaulted and was told they were going to have me and my family killed... so i bought two hand guns.
I do have family and loved ones to worry about.
@freemo Are they informed of what is up? Since your family seems to be rich, it should not be a problem to shore up security, but they need to know...
@admitsWrongIfProven My family isnt really rich... I grew up very very poor. I am one of just a few in my family who got out of poverty.
@freemo Btw, can you tell what you did to offend people? Or would that deepen the hate against you?
@admitsWrongIfProven I called out corruption I noticed at the company I worked at basically (the CEO had told a lot of lies, mostly unnecessary).
@freemo I must say, i was very lucky. Spoke truth to (not so much) power... for me, nothing happened. For you, what shit life can be. Sorry you have to brave that.
@freemo@qoto.org congrats! I got a call yesterday that my permit was ready to be picked up. So I'm right there with you.
@freemo You stop thinking about it after a while, but get ready to be treated like a second class citizen.
