Either way if you feel I didnt listen to you or took something you said out of context I'm more than happy to hear what that may be. As far as I can tell I disagreed with some of your points, you got upset and stopped having a mature conversation at that point. Perhaps i did something to upset you, so not saying its your fault, but if I did unless you talk about it not much I could do to address it. Certainly no viable options to "build bridges" without coming down from the defensive.

@acrata I hate the vast majority of decisions Trump makes. But I have to admit his last supreme court pick really wasnt bad, he tended to follow the constitution to the letter, no racist red flags or anything. I hope his next pick will be just as good, lets see...

@Algot Happy to. Its basically a bot that just follows everyone it can find (unless they have #nobot in their description)

It all has to do with how federations work. Anytime someone from one server follows someone on another server then that person is added to the federated timeline for the whole instance.

So a follow bot effectively helps grow the federated timeline of an instance.

@LWFlouisa I dont think I've ever seen a blonde vultan in the series. Not surprising considering that their planet gets a lot more sun than we do. You'd think they would all be dark skinned too but nah.

Take a real example from mastadon. Many instances require content warnings on pictures of virtually everything, including pictures of food. For posting something as simple as a picture of some food you can get your account banned across many instances. Worse yet you wont even know it.

@OutOnTheMoors True, but that only gets you so far. If you curse at someone then every server in the fediverse which doesnt find that acceptable will either ban you personally or the whole instance. So as such you still effectively get banned from interacting with large swaths of people should you behave in that way.

@OutOnTheMoors You'd get a ban for the same thing on many servers in the federation. Particularly without a Content warning :)
