@Surasanji I'd imagine it can often be worse when your younger as you lack the mental maturity to handle it as well as you might when older. But im glad you have good treatment. It can be a brutal disease when not treated for the person and even those around them.
Having that support network, meds, and a good mind set will go a long way. I have no doubt you got this shit!
@Surasanji I have a relative with it and dated a woman with it. Both, sadly, arent well treated and have some pretty devastating episodes as a result sometimes. Particularly in some of the worse cases that can really be a brutal disease. I hope for you it is at least manageable but you have my sympathies.
@Surasanji I see your getting deep down that rabbit hole.
This is why i still code microprocessors. It feels like the 8 bit days.
@Surasanji Yea i love that guy on youtube that covers all the 8-bit stuff
@Surasanji Nice, ill take two!
@Surasanji I appreciate it. Got any spare spinal columns lying around?
I wanted everyone to know I finally get my back surgery this friday. The doctors say I have a 90% chance of full recovery.
I cant wait to finally get back to my old self and pick up where I left off on my projects (including the #QOTO universe of services).
@Optionparty By the way the reason I dont use the wet noodle nib (super flex pen) in the OP is due to the type of ink. This are strongly acidic inks and tend to ruin pens over time. So my 114 year old waterman's wasnt getting anywhere near it.
With that said are there any inexpensive super flex you know of? I have tried a LOT of super flex such as the falcon and the noodlers but none of them come close to my waterman's.
If you know of any super flex I'd love to hear it, both in fountain pen style (though I probably tried it) and in dip pen style. I'm new to dip pens so not sure what the good nibs are there yet.
@Optionparty Thank you. The ones here are using a 0.5mm dip pen. However my main pen is a "super flex" (wet noddle). Specifically a 1905 waterman's. Its very flexible and while I could use some improvement it is definitely producing a much better form for me. Here is an example of my writing with that pen.
@iankenway No worries and no rush.
@iankenway The most important thing to remember is that a poll, no matter how professionally done, will not reflect the voting public perfectly, sometimes not at all, even if a poll isnt flawed.
The reason for this is because voters seek out the oppertunity to vote. They make a choice to take time out of their day, go to a location, and vote.
A poll is the opposite, those taking the poll seek you out. So it tends to include a random sampling of not just the people who care enough to vote, but also the people who never tend to vote, or simply cant be bothered to vote on this issue
It is why any sort of publicly held vote is, if all else is equal at least, much more meaningful than any survery/poll.
@iankenway I am not disagreeing with your assertion that the original vote was flawed. There are many reasons to criticize it.
But to call someone a liar for making an assertion over a public vote because of a not-so-casual poll is an unfair accusation all the same.
@hendrikboom3 I think you missed the point. "Kill them " is a reference to WWII where the rich class (mostly jews) were seen as evil, ultimately leading to their extermination (the jews, who were seen as the kingpins of the rich).
The absurdity is on Bernie for inciting the same biggotry we already went through a generation ago.
@Surasanji Agreed, that hasnt been true for a very long time in most countries, and marginally so in the others.
@Surasanji Thats fine, but so far Bernie doesnt seem to fit that bill or any politician. The last thing I would use to describe a politician is someone who is "far better educated than me"
