Nothing wrong with a prostitute if its all consenting adults, I do agree. And nothing wrong with a sugardaddy either. But yea, do whats right you thats all that matters.

Sugar babies dont necceseraly not work, though many dont. I know quite a few hookers from the netherlands as friends (its more normalized there to an extent) and many of them do it as a side job just out of love of the job. For example my one prostitute friend is a lawyer for her main job and largely does prostitution for some extra money for her hobby (ironically horse back riding, lol).

@realcaseyrollins

So i just redid my casual analysis... I actually change my answer and agree, Trump is the front winner now. This has only **recently** changed mind you, so what i said was correct just a few weeks back. But as of the current data today it seems Trump has a stronger lead than Harris and is more likely to win.

By the way remember, every time you state your side is likely to win it decreases your chance of winning. So being confident that your side is going to win is a guaranteed way to sabotage yourself. The more either side believes they are the winning side the less people feel motivated to actually go out and vote.

But yea a new objective read changes my answer, it seems Trump is objectively the lead for winning.

@admitsWrongIfProven Im not sure whats worse, generic Ads or game notifications...

@francks

I already cant stand linkedin.. its pretty much 100% spam. I just need to be there cause business people use it.

Linkedin is now sending me notifications to recommend games... what new hell is this.

@davidho

I though you republicans didnt believe in climate change?

@realcaseyrollins @stux

looking at polls really means nothing without some meta analysis. Polls differ wildly in their predictions and historic accuracy... So ill try to break down my own process (done non-rigerously) as a data scientist.

1) look through metaanalysis of polls to find polls with long-history of polling across multiple presidents and most accurately predicted the output correctly
2) collect the top 3 polls that have historically correctly predicted the presidential outcome per state
3) using just those polls assume standard deviation on the output per state to identify what polls indicate certainty in prediction and which ones have an error rate where either candidate would fall within the error
4) look at the "swing" states identified and then calculate the statical outcome of either
5) total the electorial college and see if its a slam dunk for one side or likely to be a pretty tight race, the clearly the biases the more confidently i will lean towards that side.

To anyone who thinks capitalism doesnt breed innovation hasnt heard about hamster chopsticks!

@mapto Absolutely.. A company is only as good as its members.

LOL the IEEE social network wont let you send a message with "damn" in it because its a curse word according to them.. I tried to say "I have damn near everything..." in response to a question. Can't even make this shit up.

@louis You have different levels of roads.. a walked path will of course form that you dont need to bushwack, but this isnt always consistent. Plus dirt roads dont really help with speed or breakdown completely as there will be lots of holes, puddles, rivers and large fallen trees in your way. A natural path vs a maintained road (even a basic one) can easily double your travel speed if i had to guess.

I am sure map and knowledge played a noticeable role too. It would be interesting to be able to actually quantify it somehow.

Keep in mind though during this period bridge building was huge.. every settlement made the building of bridges one of its top priorities. Typically it was forced labour where all settlers needed to contribute to bridge building or else be fined.

@louis A combination of factors, but primarily roads. You have to remember road building is about the building of the path itself, that isnt the most impactful part usual. The biggest impact comes from the bridge building.

That said paving roads (even with rocks) generally does mean faster travel with fewer break downs. So there is likely an effect there too. It isnt exactly minor.

Have you ever tried to travel through the woods without following a trail, particularly if its overgrown? Good luck.

As an owner in a company with nearly 25 workers, and a CTO of many larger companies I have come to realize one very important thing... Treating your employees well and generously and looking out for them is the most selfish thing a company can do for it self.

Well treated employees who are paid well, have good mental health, low stress, and work in an environment they love will stay with you, and produce far better quality work and a much higher output. If all you care about profits, then treating your employees well is the best thing you could do.

@lowqualityfacts

A misunderstanding in 1987 led to a large puddle in new mexico being classified as a pond when a dozen immigrants were found ducking inside it to hide from border patrol.

@KimPerales

Could not disagree more.. She is the candidate who supports racial genocide and anti-trans laws.. .nothing about her encourages anything positive. The only thing she does to discourage Trump is to hate him, and does not represent herself from a position of moral superiority sadly.

These two people I would never vote for because I simply cant support hate and murder of innocent people. Third party vote is the only ethical vote.

@profdc9 @kottke

As well as you should.. Though if you are voting in one evil to replace the evil you hate more you havent done yourself or anyone any favors.. but hey if you think race based genocide and anti-trans laws are somehow an improvement go for it.
