@LWFlouisa I would argue that racism should absolutely be covered by free speech. But only so long as it isnt a "call to action". With that said I don't feel it should be accepted socially.

@LWFlouisa True, but you can be a racist and not do any of those things.

@LWFlouisa I federate with everything but I do silence a few instances temporarily for language reasons.

@LWFlouisa I'd much rather be on a red instance and need to block a few racist pieces of shit than to be on a blue instance and worry about getting blocked over having an opinion.

@LWFlouisa Red can be a bit much for some too. They can also go the extreme on free speech and even be ok with flat out racism in some cases. Other red instances are more balanced though, just as some blue instances can be more moderate.

I ru a red instance in the sense that we are a free speech zone. But we do have some basic rules (like you cant change accounts just to circumvent personal blocks).

@LWFlouisa Blue means censorship. You must follow (usually) strict social standards for interaction and if your views tend to be too distateful for people on an instance you will quickly get banned. Usually all you'd have to do is post a political meme that is pro conservative or critical of the left in any way and a blue instance will quickly ban you in my expiernce.

Red instances are free speech zones and tend to only ban people who are excessively disruptive if they ban people at all.

It is terms for PC vs free speech instances.

@imvectech A small warning. A lot of people have a very negative impression of cross posting from twitter (thought they dont mind cross posting too twitter).

I suspect it may cost a good number of followers as a result.

@cjeureka@noagendasocial.com ditto :) your welcome to my bud light anytime :)

@cjeureka@noagendasocial.com I grew up in the ghetto, only kid that didnt have skin that looked african in my neighborhood. Only reason i learned as much as i did was curiosity and persistence.

@cjeureka@noagendasocial.com The story behind Mr. Bojangles goes back way before Sammy. It has its root very deep in African America usic and the character showed up very early on. I don't remember all the details but i do remember watching the old black and white videos of various depictions of the character.

@cjeureka@noagendasocial.com Yea i know the history of the song, I know this isnt the original too. But it is my favorite version :)

Mr. Bojangles is one of my favorite songs. Not only does it have a very rich an interesting African American history, but the lyrics are particularly special to me.

There is a part in the song where he says Bojangles always talks about his dog who he went everywhere with for 15 years and after 20 years since the dog's passing he still grieves. My dog passed several years ago and I always talk about her everywhere I go and keep her picture with me. There will never be a day I dont tell people about my little angel blue :)

@LWFlouisa Most democrats and republicans who are extremely loyal to their party have little understand of other views. Just the nature of party loyalty i guess.

@LWFlouisa I think id be more likely to be a red instance guy than a blue if i had to choose. Though I'd rather be on an instance with rules like a red instance but with the concern for others that neither instance type
tends to have.

@LWFlouisa you didnt know this account was hackers.town all this time you've been posting?

Ok, working on the second part of the psychology of . I promise, it will be better than the previous.

Meanwhile, a significative meme

@sheogorath@g0v.social well its hard to say. When i look at the statistics I can find numbers supporting both sides. There are numbers that show making guns illegal or increasing restrictions causes homicides and vioence to significantly increase. There are other studies that show no effect at all or small increases or decreases.

Long story short, I dont know the answer.
