Depends there are two levels silencing and suspending. With silencing a person wont show up in federated timelines and cant message or talk to people unless they follow them first. With a suspension you cant interact at all, not even follow.

@robcolbert For a free speech instance you guys you seem to be pretty pro block. I mean hell you even suspend accounts who criticize gab on gab pretty liberally I hear, seen a few examples of gab blocks that looks pretty frivolous.

I mean its cool if thats the stance your instance has on moderation. But I'm not sure its fair to keep flying the free speech banner then either.

They got the republicans pretty accurate here, but the democrats are more likely to be screaming nazi as they assault the republicans than by actually making a valid useful point like that.

Either way it was worth a lol.

I was just remembering with smiles and tears my dear departed mouse. Only had him for a day but I really bonded with the little cuddler before he passed. He is buried in my philly home :(

@sda I'd say neither (though i have no love of political parties). The issue is better addressed by ranked-choice voting. There really would be no sane way to eliminate political parties anyway.

@peterdrake Thats not accurate at all. Having winner take all voting is the only thing eliminating third parties. Institute ranked choice voting and you fix the issues with third parties and manage to retain all of the benefits for which the electoral college was created in the first place. Although it helps if we first reverse many of the laws that limit the powers of the electoral college in the first place. It is very different than the state it was originally in.

Well depends what their doing. I mean legitimate nazis would have to be mass killing people technicall or at least advocating for it. Thats call to action and kinda illegal.

If they arent doing anything illegal then they arent nazis they are racist, while that to is deplorable and I'd want to try to eliminate it, its certainly less severe than a nazi who actively advocates for mass murder.

Both are pretty bad, just a matter of extremes.

@magicalmilly Might i suggest some specific examples of what they did that warrents the title of "Nazi". I think this would help people judge how urgent this call for help is and might get a more useful reaction.
