I thought people had to respect people due to political opinions. Shouldnt you have had to ask if this post was politically motivated before you choose to disrespect them?

This is my point, if someone has a disgusting view they should not be isolated from you loosing respect for them simply because it is politically motivated.

You certainly have that right.

Your opinions dont get a pass simply for being of a political nature.No one is ever protected from judgements simply for being "political", they are protected because of their nature. You are welcome to disagree on conservative or liberal terms all you ant, and yes it would be wrong to attack someone for being a conservative. But if they straight up tell me "us american should be deported" you will not have my respect regardless of if that opinion is a poliical one or not.

Regardless, the respect I give others is not measured by the respect I receive. And I have no shame in not respecting a person who wishes harm on other people, and never will.

ITs a bit more than that.. Every single person deported has access to a hearing (albeit summarily) on deportion. So yes, they do.

We have a fast-track process, and in that process there are two check points where the immigrant can demand a hearing.

There is a gross difference between a fast-track process where an immigrant **opts** not to ask for a hearing, and is deported summarily, vs rushing someone out int he middle of the night against a judges orders.... not even comparable.

I just did a whole right up ont he fast-track process and the various points where a person is garunteed judicial review should they invoke it.

Cool, obviously you have at least one brain cell if you dont support deporting american citizens.

Now do you have at least 2 brain cells and likewise dont support presidents who claim they want to deport us citizens? Thats more the issue, if you see the gross violations Trump is both doing, and claiming he will try to do, and you are pissed off and oppose his rule, then I fully respect you again. If not then I hate to say it but this is the moment ive lost a very long track record of respect for you.

There are lines people cant cross and expect me to respect them. Wanting a president who says they want to deport US citizens, and actively circumvents the due process clause of the constitution is one fundemental thing i can never respect. I hope that isnt you, as 1) I never would have expected it to be and 2) I much prefer to think the respect you gained from me is earned and not misplaced.

"being here illegally"... as ruled by what court? Thats the point you arent getting here. Until a court rules your here illegally, then you arent, thats the point. Crimes need to be ruled in court before they are determined...

Are you serious man, really? In the press conference she clarified it.. he specifically said "deport american citizens" and referenced the specific talk Trump said what he said that you think is ambiguous. The press release secretary quite clearly states that yes, trump is looking to find a way to deport citizens and that he has been talking about it and planning it for a while in multiple ways.

ARe you seriously this desperate to play this mental gymnastics.. at this point you just sound like a tool when it has been so clearly reiterated in multiple conversations in multiple ways... why are you so desperate to believe something different than what has been explicitly stated, and clarified in multiple ways to you by him and his press secretary?

ICE was trying to stop a rulling that may have found the individual innocent and prevented them from having any course of action to deport him. They are trying to deport people without due process, his memo explicitly revealed they are trying to get people deported by avoiding court cases, meaning based on simply accusations without any due process.

In this case Eduardo Flores-Ruiz was accused of domestic abuse, without any court ruling if the accusation was valid or not. ICE wanted to deport him without due process, the judge insisted he had a right to a hearing to determine if he was guilty before using as a grounds for a deportation. Therefore she was arrested so ICE could deport the man without his constitutionally protected due process.
