Who I follow in the fediverse is **not** a reflection of who's ideas I agree with. I generally follow people who make educated, rational, statements and can engage people with a difference of opinion maturely.

Most of the people I follow are people who think very differently than me and I enjoy the mutually respectful discussions that ensue.

Im sitting here making like a months worth of meatballs in one go (to freeze them). Its like three full rounds in my largest frying pot stuffed with meatballs.

Between chopping up all the veggies, and needing the meat and eggs and everything (it was a giant chunk of meat, several KG) and now frying it I'm pooped. I'm starting to think cooking all those home made meals is why my grandmother died as early as she did. god knows me always taking seconds probably didnt help :)

Man when im home alone I do some of the dumbest craziest shit. I just listened to Linkin Park - Hybrid theory for the first time in like a decade. Sang along to the whole thing at the top of my lungs but just replaced all the words with the word "meow"... "meow meow meeeeooooowwwwww"

My favorite past time:

Responding to insults with "hahahah nice one man, love it!" then watching their face turn red and they get increasingly agitated as their insults dont land. Each one just responding with "lol another good one man!". By the end they are full on tantrum, works every time.

So I live by the water, as do many in the Netherlands. Recently a duck family I often see int he near by water started coming and saying hi almost every day. They eat the apples that fall off the trees in my yard. But they have gotten used to me as i sometimes through them some fruit left overs like pears too which they like the variety. So now they started coming by the door and saying hello to me when they see me.

It is kinda adorable the mom showing up with the little baby ducklings all in tow every day.

Can we stop calling recovery programs "rehabilitation".. that word implies the people going into it were at one point abilitated and now need to be rehabilitated . It should just be called "abilitation"
