#showerthought Up until now I have been stalled by one thing in my project ideas: server side operation. So far my ideas have at least some kind of file I/O involved, which require server side scripts. That's out of scope for my assignment, and I haven't done learning all the client side shit yet.
So if I eliminate all the server-related operations in my ideas... I can actually get something done!

Fully assembled my #Z80 backplane!
Nothing fancy for now, it's just a passive board with a USB power port, and a power-on reset button using the 555 timer as a Schmitt trigger inverter.
Time to design the RAM/ROM board.
If your making italian food and the recipe counts garlic in cloves and not bulbs throw the recipie away and find a better one.
After 2 days of cooking in about 4 - 6 more hours my sauce will almost be done! Dinner gonna be lit!
Today the prank on my roommate begins...
I wired up a bunch of tiny battery powered electronic devices that play random creepy sounds every few hours at random intervals. I built 9 of them and hid them in his room (like unscrewed wall sockets and stuck it in there, put it inside the lining of his bed, shit like that.. even put it inside the lining of his backpacks... there are 9 of them total
