GPG/PGP tip: When trust-signing company keys, either from another company key or a personal key, sign it so you trust the whole company, not just the individual key. To do this use tsign and select a depth of 2 with a domain restriction that matches the company's domain. This will cause you to automatically trust all employees of the company that are trusted by the company's master key and verified without you needing to set the trust individually or verify individual identities.

There are far too many starving and homeless children for that to be a morally justified choice. I would love a child, but ethics would never allow me to do that. That said I do intend to adopt.

TIL you can literally drink pure Phosphoric Acid and it wont destroy your mouth. I mean i knew it wasnt the strongest of acids but I didnt realize how weak it was.
I found this out because a vitamin I bought is 95% water and 5% pure phosphoric acid. i put a few drops out and let the water evaporate then licked it and to my surprise it was tart but didnt burn. Should have been close to 85% pure after the bulk of the water evaporated.

Exactly, they have bodily autonomy. They can wear protection or not, thats their choice their body. If they choose not to wear protection thats on them. It is not my responsibility to habe my bodily autonomy infringed on simply because some other people are too lazy to wear appropriate protection. Doesnt work that way. You wear whatever level of protection you want, worry about yourself, you are more than capable of protecting yourself regardless of my choices with my body.

See now you just moved the goal post, now your not talking about requiring masks of the general public but only people with symptoms. Despite the goal post being moved this is still a horrible take. Anyone with COVID should remain indoors, its the polite thing to do for sure. But since the overwhelming majority of people who get COVID are asymptomatic and never know they have COVID that will do little good regardless.

Just moved here coz on my previous server I was told to un-boost the following toot, as it was reported for allegedly perpetuating ableism, and possibly being in violation of the rule against "unfounded conspiracy theories".
I have a lot more to say about this, but for now I only have energy to say it was a big 1984 ALERT, TIME TO GO moment.
I hope the experience here will be different. If anyone has a perspective they'd like to share, in the spirit of QOTO, I'm all ears.
