I am american. While killing a thing is always on the table we prefer to exploit something first, killing it is the backup plan.
I wonder if there is some sort of objective measure for the amount of phenotype variation within a single species.
For example brocoli, as we all know, takes wildly different forms within the same species. This is common among some plants, even going so far as to allowing variations in ploidity.
But even among mamals there seems to be difference in variation. Dogs for example seem to have more variation than humans, at least outwardly.

"Climate change is arguably one of the greatest challenges today. Although the scientific consensus is that human activities caused climate change, a substantial part of the population downplays or denies human responsibility. In this registered report, we present causal evidence on a potential explanation for this discrepancy: motivated reasoning."

Over the recent months, in the context of #feminicides and other everyday #violence, I'm starting to more and more think that #patriarchy is not the cause. It's just the tip of the iceberg. It's the widespread #detachment that just makes us not care about any signs of social problems around us... until these problems enter the always-hungry-for-sensations news cycle. But I'm struggling to find how to operationalise, measure and underline this hypothesis.

@freemo right. In California, everyone makes the same minimum hourly wage of $16 regardless of tips. There's no "employer discount" for tipped employees like at the federal level and many other states. https://www.dol.gov/agencies/whd/state/minimum-wage/tipped
Companies or at least their owners, need to realize going public shouldnt always be the goal. For the right kind of company going public is great, for the wrong kind it can mean the death of the company.
I've seen trying to go public, and the expense and compromises that go with it, cost way too many promising company's their future.
@freemo tip $0.01 people forget to tip once in a while, so a low tip is better noticed.
The funniest part of #JoeBiden gibberish clips is actually the applause that always follows.
