#AI = where the industry goes, so do the people (Trends, incentives, Money, grants, Worshipping the Gods / BigTech Planners too big to fail)

@ludicity

It seems very much like 'where the industry goes, so do the people'

🌠 Just read it and enjoyed -
➕ here's my contribution to what I think about regurgitations / distractions / sucking people in... below!

Each point with █

█ Yes we find also; Trends, Incentives, Government grants, Money Worshipping, Worshipping BigTech Gods & "The Planners" who are "too big to fail" because they are ok take your money 1st!)... Security (Compartmentalisation / Spying /) and the list goes on...

Even those that know better (maybe others reading this) will go for it because "that's where the money is" (I mean more exactly "IF there is any money from the bank / government plan, then it might be in AI but money is scarce for these things or at least scarce for schemes like this to work).

So even if plans are "crazy"... if THEY have a plan as the Planners... then not much else chance to back them, and yes even blind...

█ And yes they are somewhat all our "providers" <====== oh damn that's clever and relevant!!!

They are our "providers" from job to consumption - so we either follow the money 🚒 or buy into it (inadvertently) 🔥

Add a bit of "attachment theory" to this point show you how much "we need them" not just as sentiment but like needing parents and banks! ====>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attachme

█ And almost like praising a new aquifer and a new spring of "potential-oil" ™️ (the man-made version) is quite "the same potential or outright lie but more heavily invested than before (invested = means more siphoning or "subsidising" public money).

So maybe money is there if you want to go all-in and maybe hit something digging all that way down ! Just follow our tech trend and cash-in at least on the hype!
Then we see what happens and maybe change it again. Or like the other comments I've tooted "The ensuing AI centipede of excremental progress will eventually collapse into a shit pile." <=== Well said Tony already here. And kudos to others.

SUMMARY
========
So overall "it doesn't matter what the tech or logic is from that of the waterfall direction from Bank / Gov / Top-down. The money / work is more likely the incentive (if any money but probably some discount deals meantime to get us started) so you better get on this train and say whatever it takes, because there are not many trains to pay your increasingly expensive rent, if at all, but you might get something if you help us build and then cut jobs later..."

The bank / BigTech waterfall of shit and government backing them probably means the people MUST back it as a result of the heavy dependency (the debt-based economy / welfare dependency etc en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welfare_ /

traumatic bonding.... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traumati

lol and other existing relationship like bad parents.

They say blue is the new red for their tech push, so you better buy blue this season!...

Thank for the article... AND I'm interesting in growing people's mind (human attitude is first and last in any chain / users are the weakest point on most networks - or any network or colony of ants need to get better and link up with wiser people and providers (not the traditional "providers" as in the hashtags ⬇️ ).

"Hardly anyone notices these quantum blockchain AI grifts collapse, because the new grift is already there to distract people.

It's a bit like a virus that mutates, and occasionally it mutates to something that grows big, sucks in billions and billions of investor money and just gives

What a weird system. Too bad the last two iterations are literally burning the planet in the process."

Great news everyone! I finally talk about AI hype. Someone finally mentioned LLMs one time too many, and the reckoning is upon us:

Change the people, they are first and last in the chain for any Technology.

(from answering emails badly to anything else, people need more self-trust, clarity in communication, 1-to1 effort and heart per person).

Not many want to 'hack' people's brains (habits and programming), and instead work on hacking a computer program instead... 🤷

It seems very much like "where the industry goes, so do the people" (my quotes here without reading link which I will do soon)

Worshipping the Gods and those that know better, because even if crazy they have a plan (probably better than mine) and the Planners too big to fail)... so let's back them bind...

Almost like praising a new aquifer or new-oil spring... even if almost man-made and "the same but more heavily invested than before (more subsidised public money too), so maybe money is there if you want to go all-in / follow our tech trend / cash in on the hype until we see what happens and maybe change it again".

So overall "it doesn't matter what the tech or logic is, the money is more likely the incentive (if any money but probably some discount deals) so you better get on this train and say whatever it takes since there are not many trains to pay your expensive rent, if at all,but you might get something if you help build..."

So whatever the bank / BigTech and/or government back, the people MUST back it as a result of the heavy dependency (the debt-based economy / welfare en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welfare_ / traumatic bond en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traumati and other existing relationship like bad parents).

Torrents as people + followers,,, Seeding and having trackers also FTW?

@CapitalB @Sir_Christo_of_Black_Mountain I personally think people can follow 1 person they believe in (well they kind of do already like ) so they have something like a mini-network rather than relying on only the protocol (a combination of both maybe) but people are basically the first and last in the chain and like Leaders of old (yes many incorrect or extreme) it shows the people's power can be magnified through a person or someone they really see themselves in (and humanity feeling they are 1 whole basically).

Native Americans had female tribe leaders - perhaps protecting the children / more able to share and forgiving than than men... esp. since they give birth / naturally have this ability over men / take care of children (adults too!).

I think we need to test and believe in 1 or 2 people... and then rotate... purify and replace voluntarily or as our taste changes. And in case of any death simply renew / continue seeding 'torrent' from where they left off / switch trackers...

Just saw video (see that hashtag if interested) and part saying people with autism seem to be able to tell the truth and not look away / ignore it or stand by and watch so easily, so this is why Fediverse can be harnessed with consent to basically follow, someone like a queen bee in a colony!

Seriously I think I'm the one too as I see to have both male / female attributes or traits and love for each things that exists, while not totally all in (can accept death or even someone killing something in it's own context and reasoning)....

@thechase Oooh nice to see. I like the midi style small keyboards which when I has when was using XP or something and then seemed to go out of fashion (or I did) and then came back...

so nice to see that (with pads and probably more bells and whistles <literally! )- What apps would you recommend or tested for that?
