Votng etc is not my idea of an answer, though people throwing themselves at the system to bend it as a non-profit is honourable if you know already by definition governments don't want to bend to anyone, not even logic / their own family...
...unless of course it pays them a cruel amount as % tax every little small things they do, similar to people dying three time as a constant debt making machine called bank.

We have little answer other than make "civilised" the crushing weight of the state.

Overally any country is not un-similar to #INSERTYourCountryHere and future #Ukraine if you look at real progress and not just GDP etc.

I was writing about chocolate + coffee and realised it's regularly used at petrol stations or a give-away / loyalty schemes etc to lure people or get them into something.

It helps that my chemistry doesn't readily want / identify with these liquid-crap / over-sugary products, and maybe I identified how capitalism uses them so it's very political.

I don't want to sound like I'm insulting things purely on their purity (over-pure) and politics (over-extraction) and who supplies it (Capitalism people who are surely no good) but I guess I am, and hope you consider making the change to reduce consumption back to rationed levels and making it special again.

I don't doubt the grandmas giving choc to kids as being "nice" but I think they could do better considering the influx over the years and invasion from Easter Eggs to Christmas to Valentines etc but I realise all this also as stimulant, brain or body thing which is why Capitalism I think uses it (over-extended people's energy even if they crash / puke from limits).

Even good coffee shops / protest places where you drink a certain coffee for 'Zapatistas' to support people home and away can be too habit forming...

I do understand any movement needs to be funded (from Capitalism to Zapatistas https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zapatista) and don't even knock that completely (Black / Native people's need this funding, but as Capitalism is so good you do have to wonder how and why it's been made and literally "pushed" everywhere because Capitalist patterns are 99% for self-interest
(tempting to say 100% actually!).

Buying into things usually is political. Coffee anyone? (Na I'll just have a tea, mint or nettles from your garden if you have!)

For cold / hot tea, some fast growing mint or nettles from your garden can help...

Finding fruit or leaves if you need replacement can be better and more fun than the more er synthetic / processed stuff...

CREDITS for Pics, from @mhamzahkhan who posted about a week ago and completely accept as posting, might not even be a heavy drinker - mainly for the pics and also since I was browsing the other posts / hashtags.

I see all these as quite similar types of stimulant 💉

Even if it's less of a stimulant, they all give adrenalin kicks / ups and downs in the head / temporary highs and encourage feeding addiction if not mentally balanced.

If unbalanced (which is normal for humans I consider) then people tend to stuff themselves and use it like a drug.

When worried, nervous, have too much work... it doesn't really help original problem and can just delay AND even compound problems (the original stress, lack of sleep, nervousness, lack of ways of in a trapped system + more feelings on top).

For me I see chocolate and coffee still like wartimes as something rare and luxury;

█bad for teeth and digestion consumed daily, otherwise like CocaCola a bit of Cocaine / Crack style enjoyment only if really a rare thing.

Doesn't help now you can buy things too readily and from everywhere - kind of takes away it's special ability unless you actively defend from friends and other pushing it. I let things sit for ages until it's really time.

Kind of too pure for me and consider it deliberately well supplied crack/crap for mice on the treadmill.

Has a lot of damage embedded too. From source (coffee coming from Brazilian railway lines 🚆 built solely to be extract and supply to The West, for example.... sugar imported for watered-down chocolate, just a few squares is enough like sugar cubes)

Those that give kids whole bars are crazy! What do you think / do realted to these things?

If Russian Sanctions against the Moscow Exchange are any news, it's real #war when Exchanges stop talking to another... financially! As they want to catch all the fish before that and don't mind agreeing even during war - but there are limits it seems.

Just saw this post which is nothing major https://qoto.org/@TheOldGuy/112626772915125552 but says the US mostly shut things down / terminate agreements / imposing sanctions in this time of war - which is ironic as they were warring not long before and shaking hands)

All banks and countries as gangsters and banksters !

Basically financial exchanges are main pipelines to tax it all and control everything through it.

This includes shutting it down, taking it over, regulating it by imposing sanctions in times of war (domestic or foreign crisis or self-made / spontaneous crashes) and stepping up authority to achieve that (since all business is a branch of A Government instance)
