Human Contact is like electricity - TOO WEAK CONTACT = TOO LITTLE... TOO STRONG CONTACT = TOO MUCH

The "Should be" here is something more balanced between humans and any points of extreme (although extremes when signaled can work well too and cut to the chase).

EXPLORATION IS THE KEY

Feels like the exploration and mutual discovery IS LOST when it's too weak in contact (like electricity passing through us, not enough) or too strong in contact (burning the people out)...

EXTREMES MAKE IT ONE WAY OR TOO HEAVY

When it's lukewarm and too fiery as "contact" and not the middle, it's not always making real contact. It can be one way ๐Ÿ”œ instead of both ways ๐Ÿ”ƒ

EXTRA PARTS / SOME REPETITION.... below
=================

SHOOTING APPROXIMATELY
AND ACCEPTING IMPERFECTION:

All can work but the middle is like shooting at a target get to get somewhere approximately (remember because we're imperfect approximately is actually ok or should be!)

CONTINUATION EVEN IF YOU DON'T LIKE BITS OF SOMEONE

IF more is to be discovered it can let us continue with something else good... often people stop because people are using windows or something!

Something like "trying more stronger contact" or in "different ways" is good advice while for stronger people needs balancing and even help in articulation (someone rewriting my work has helped in the past wonders as "human contact" isn't always as easy as a post about "electricity" a simile... !)

TLDR: Contact as human electricity, is like electricity from Earth when we connect things well in a chain, between human (not just material extraction but human contact is different).

Fediverse = Almost "all or nothing..."

"Should be" more balanced in between these points if more is to be discovered - so it's not too lukewarm and not too fiery for contact.

Feels like the exploration and mutual discovery is lost when it's too weak a contact (like electricity passing through us, not enough) or too strong in contact (burning the people out)...

Who Cares Wins...

(maybe not at the beginning but long term YES 100%, especially if you want people to care about you too!)

Not only what the bad people do (bad work), It's what the good people don't do (defend themselves at work / do the people work improving communication etc)...

=============
This is how I see it:
=============
โ˜‘๏ธ yes bad people take advantage,

โŒ but no, the good people don't know how to put their guard up / or fight nicely between each other

and so leave themselves wi . . de open... especially when it comes to natural differences.

Good people might complain but do they aim to work on it and try regularly?

Not only what the bad people do (bad work), It's what the good people don't do (like defend themselves at work or do the good work out of just 'job')...

#UKIP, which had almost 500 district and county councillors in 2016, now has none. Only about 30 parish councillors remain.

But the 25 seats it had won last time in the councils that were up now were already lost before election day: only one incumbent ran again for UKIP.

#ReformUK didn't do much better: it won just six seats.

#LocalElections #ukpol

Looks like the #Netherlands government has fallen. Early #elections would likely not take place until October, but the timing isn't auspicious for parties on the left. Current polling has them recovering a bit, but only to the level of the already disastrous 2017 election 1/2

Did you ever look at the hashtag? ( maybe don't as a distraction warning! ) ๐Ÿšจ

That's simply because evolution wired humans to do the easy thingโ€”but we've created a modern where you can do the easy thing in a lot of ways.

In my view, theory needs to take into account that egalitarianism is a fallacy. People are different, situations are different, and therefore, you rarely get nice clean square-cornered rules.

This is why case law has always been more complex but more exact than statutory law.

mission statement - philanthropic funders... co-create a Fediverse :fediverse:

" We are going to take into account the people, the software, and the processes of the Fediverse. We are going to do the best job we can to capture how prepared (and how unprepared) they are to deal with the risks they face. Then we are going to make strong recommendations for how open source projects, philanthropic funders, civil society organizations, and others can co-create a Fediverse that is safer and better for humanity than the social media we've been stuck with for two decades. We have to demand that these forces to which our attention is now subject start standing out of our light. This means rejecting the present regime of attentional serfdom. It means rejecting the idea that weโ€™re powerless, that our angry impulses must control us, that our suffering must define us, or that we ought to wallow in guilt for having let things get this bad.
