@freemo "...The most common state deadline for election officials to receive absentee or mail ballots is on Election Day when the polls close. Some states, however, accept and count a mailed ballot if it is received after Election Day but postmarked prior to the election.

What constitutes a postmark is changing. Because less mail gets truly postmarked, many states are accepting an Intelligent Mail barcode (IMb) as evidence."

@freemo I didn't say my state of Florida changed it's rules. I said some states did, with previous procedures similar to FL. You misunderstood. The link I provided lists a table of all states and their procedures which you can take a look at. "This resource is intended to reflect permanent state law. Many states have made changes to election policies that will only be in effect for the 2020 election.."

I've voted in every US general, congressional and local election via mail ballot since 2008. I was always required to have my ballot received by election offices no later than the day before election, to allow time for count. This year they changed rules to accept ballots beyond elex day, some up to 9 days after 😯 Since mail ballots are far less verifiable than in person voting, this invites massive fraud. No surprise this is benefitting only one side, this was no accident.

These post-election protests are pitiful to watch. One side wants their pro-imperial capitalist victorious. The other side wants their pro-imperial capitalist victorious. Imbeciles are unwitting pawns in a grand ol' chess game.

Unlike most democracies in the world the US uses a privately owned media giant the Associated Press, controlled by the propagandist Council on Foreign Relations, to decide our elections. They call winners and losers based on "insider information" not total vote count; manipulate vote tallies released as needed. When King AP decides what is shown and what's suppressed it benefits the Empire's agenda, while the people lose

Never trust protests endorsed by the West

@lordalveric I've been skeptical about it all since the incident at Ft. Detrick. I doubt this was an accident

@art_zdesiseitsas Fantastic...I hadn't heard of Gimp much less that it was free. Think I'll download this tonight! 👏

@art_zdesiseitsas wow 😮 this is great...may I ask what program you use? I've been transitioning from sketchpaper to digital and have only just started Photoshop/Illustrator basics...so much to learn!

Jebus, just one tweet after 2 months away from Twitter and I'm already re-censored. The empire loves me not

Good to be back from the dead. Hello QOTO

@design_RG As it happens I'm a studious nerd. And I love history.

So reading through your FidoNet blog, hearing of BBS for the first time piqued my curiosity. I have no computer background and it's unfortunate none of this is taught in our schools. It should be. I sure have a lot to learn! I searched for pics of what a BBS looks like and this just opened a can of brain food. :blobaww: I'm still reading about Seuss and Christensen. It is fascinating, might need to jot a lot of this information down in my notes.

Thanks for the reading material! it also provides valuable insight into my political studies. A break from all this turmoil too, anyway. I do have a personal goal of learning more about this field and this is a great place to start 👍

@design_RG 🤗yw!! I am seriously a noob on the world of federated social medias. I only heard of Mastodon less than 6 months ago and still getting used to it. Before that I was a recluse on the loathsome Twitter. So this is all a huge learning curve, but I love learning new things. Thankfully this is a very helpful community for people like me. I am looking into Pleroma! This is super interesting

@design_RG this is great information! thank you

Yet somehow society expects us to feel respect and admiration for 'roidal savages such as these. No thanks

RT @BrutumF: Look at this cop forcing the weapon into the protester's hand to create cause.

@freemo QOTO has been wonderful, and I found a home here after leaving a previous instance due to free speech restrictions, so I thank you and the QOTO team for giving people a voice :)
