**Cold California** If this wind channel shifts a bit more to the west, they'll get their storms again.

**Gulf Stream may be back** For most, it was never gone, but since 2016, the temperature plot of the ocean did not show any thermal signal that was different from the Pacific. Now it shows warmer water up past Scandinavia. This is leading the plumes up into that zone. No idea what that means.

**No change in Pacific**
Just got the ocean currents map -- no change in anything. The Pacific Cold Phase will continue, and we might as well stop calling it La Nina. This is all being assimilated into Climate Change, as we speak.

**Winds of the Earth**

No. 1 - NA is getting a direct stream from the pole. Very cold, should nudge natgas prices.
No. 2 Asia continues with a much stronger flow from Siberia
No.3 Europe has mixed flows

**Extreme cold is climate change** It all makes sense to the influencers.

“we can consider this extreme weather – extremely hot weather in summer and extremely cold weather in winter – as one of the signals of climate change.”

This is the exact same symptom as the ocean currents flipping, and the coming of the Little Ice Age. Of course, this is all due to carbon dioxide acting as a thermal blanket. I'm 100% for this, and I no longer have to offer basic physics.
I will continue to show the charts that the world temperatures are going down, and this is an 'all inclusive deal'. Drink all you want!
In Canada, we will get colder and the Arctic ice will build up. There's nothing that climate change can't do. Just don't invest in an Arctic shipping service.
In the summer, we are free to note that El Nino has been killed by his little sister La Nina, and his body stashed in a snow drift. It's all good! Invest in umbrella sales for Australia.

**Europe is a warmer mess** This is what I mean about it being a mess, but the African air is coming back, and the Siberian air is gone. Lots of tropical plumes up in the northern reaches, again warming everything. The influencers can dance again, the cold air isn't building up, and it will never come down again....

**Physics of air quality** I don't have much to say, but I'm thinking that the physics here is as bad as anything else. The story is all controlled by those who have skin in the game. They have 'qualifications' and the influencers parrot them. I'm thinking of uvc on titanium oxide. I've rigged this up a few times, and it gives a nice fresh scent like the outdoors. This gives out hydroxyl ions, and I'm thinking that someone should be bold enough to have a hypothesis that a heavy saturation of this in the air is harmless and stops covid from getting in the eyes. However, anything new is instantly sued in the US. Too bad. We'll just have to go with things that don't work.

**Normal winter** For NA, at least. Europe is a mess. Still not much air coming down the Bering Str. so we just get clippers.

**No Go El Nino** At this point, the end of January, we must declare the death of Mr. El Nino. Perhaps, some might want to go on for another couple of months?

**A perfect Alberta clipper** It's unusual to see the air flow so perfectly from the NW. The Arctic is starting another heavy cold flow through the Bering Str. This should push storms back to California.

**Europe blocks warm air** This is cute. The warm air from Africa is turning at Italy. The Siberian air keeps pouring in.

**Snow** Snow for Toronto. It's still dark outside, and looking at this, I need another coffee...

**50 below air headed for Europe and Toronto** The MIMIC shows us a standard winter pattern. The cold is blowing away the warmth. However, a huge collision (perfect storm) is setting up for Toronto.
Europe is a mess of winds, but the 50 below stuff is creeping in.

**Too cold for euro-football** In Canada, we don't have this problem. Right now, the full Siberian -60 air is flowing over Europe. Ground heaters don't work at -60 :)

**Canada gets cold blobs** These are now following last year's pattern. Progressively colder blobs coming down on us. They sweep the US, as well. The mimic gif shows the speed, and the static minimum temps show the severity.
I'm just sticking to Canada right now, Europe can have the influencers. :)

**La Nina Forever** I think someone tried to stop the tides once. It didn't work out for him. The first picture is the usual fluff. The second is the ocean temps that haven't changed for a year. The third is the latest ocean current gif, which hasn't changed for a year. Someday, the influencers may 'ghost' this whole La Nina thing, and the poor Australians will be sucker-punched. :)

**Siberian air finally hits Europe** That cold air has been stopped many times by ocean plumes. Also, most of the plumes have been stopped in the Arctic, except for one from Siberia, which is pushing a cold-air blob to Toronto. Once all the plumes have stopped, it looks like the Arctic cool pool will start filling up again.

**Indoor air quality** For those being forced to go back to work. From the experience of my neighbours, you'll be back sick from covid a week later. I am impressed with a new generation of air quality monitors, at about $40 cdn. Quite the competition, so it will be going down.
I had the dubious honour of being in the first of the 'new wave' efficient office buildings in the 70's. Many people had to quit their jobs because they got so sick. For huge floor of 500 people, they recycled all the air through cheap filters, and had an opening of less than a sq ft for fresh intake. It was a soup of disease.

**Empty Arctic gets attacked by sharks** The pattern this year has been for the Arctic to fill, like a pool, with extremely cold air, and then spill it all out in high-velocity channels. Now it is empty, and all the plumes are coming in. We don't know if it will start the filling process again.
