**Oscillating pattern for North America** Cold coming down, then pushed by by warmth, rinse, repeat.

**Leaving** Once again I am leaving. Thanks everybody!

**Air turbulence** This would be a great place to inject some physics, but they can't. The article calls it 'clear air turbulence' not 'Clear air convection'. This was big in the 70's and now is big again. All due to the ice cycle. Had they stuck to the studies they were doing in the 70's, we'd have an easy answer now. However, all this was killed when nasa decided to ride the bandwagon of the popular mob-thought. Fasten your seatbelt!

**Stores continue to driver everybody away** Very heavy snooping, special constables, and packaging that can rip you to pieces. Can't wait to see what's next.

**Arctic winds pour over Europe** The severity of winter is determined by heating degree-days. Europe had an easy ride earlier when all the cold poured over Siberia and gave California a sog.

**Winnipeg no days over freezing in March** This is the reality of an ice cycle -- the long cold.

**Weak tropical plumes** The UK is expecting warmth, but these plumes won't do it. NA is getting a slow drift of Arctic air.

**Toronto wind at 80km/hr** Wow, the trees are ready to break.

You do not need a parachute to skydive.

You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

**Zoneminder** Such a complicated thing that it has to be run on its own old mini-computer with no KDE. That interferes with mariadb. So the files have to go on NFS to the big machine full of disks. But ZM can't clean up old files through nfs. So a crontab has to be put in the big machine. ZM can handle files missing with zmaudit.pl

I love running zm on its own machine. The only big trouble is when php is updated, and there is a little trick, which I can never remember, about updating php on apache2.

You can see our endless rain in Toronto. but the file upload is out right now on qoto.

**Australian rain not stopped yet** You can see the tropical warm air is being driven down by the cold equatorial belt. This meets the southern cold. The result is continuous rain. Under normal circumstances, that tropical air should stay north. I'll keep looking for it to stop.

@freemo Just realized he never sees my freemojokes. Maybe I can trademark that? ...

Having a bash at the upstairs shower, using my Dupray steamer and Amazon 75% vinegar. Man, the vinegar steam is great for the sinuses on this cold, miserable day.

**Deep Fakes** Lots of money being scammed with this.

Fremofake calling his mom: "Help, I'm being chased by a giant octopus. Send money!" Mom: "Get outta here!" ...

**Open source chatter** Yeah, now you just need a few billion to offer this for free, to suck the soul out of everyone...

I just read an article on my favourite topic of how ocean currents control the weather. It was on one of those super-cheap sites with horrible ads. And it was written by a cheap AI. Talk about soul sucking! ...

**Another monster storm hits Toronto** And we know what caused it...

**Moral Dilemma** I make a lot of raisin bread for breakfast, and buy a lot of raisins from Costco. Quel Horreur! I'm out of raisins! I end up getting a pouch from Amazon which is more expensive, but no endless trouble getting in the car, and eventually dealing with Costco wrapping to stop shoplifters. You could accidentally slit your throat with that stuff! .... But the Ammie trucks go by 3 times a day, and deliver to every other house. Less gas wasted than going to the store... Oh well...

**Lots of cold to come down** We would expect more tropical plumes to have hit the Arctic by now. You can see the cold air fronts coming down.
