**World heat flow** Due to attacks on geophysics (not me) I am in a funk, and will only do these when the ocean currents come out. Summary - Europe cold, Australia wet.

ps. the American demand for cocaine has destroyed every country to the south. We Canadians can make a lot of money on this.

**Canada to produce cocaine** No more cocaine bears! This is rational and makes me happy.

A great apology to the guy I turned off. I have suddenly grown allergic to original thought. It should come back eventually.

**Out for a bit** I'm getting a bit too nasty making fun of our wonderful philosophers. What have we got to amuse ourselves other than long discussions? I'll come back when NOAA comes out with the next world temperature plot. See if I can stick with self-discipline....

The gulf stream is still erratic, but the Pacific is stone-cold solid. We're not hearing any more on how El Nino will come any day now. I think they'll just slink away, as usual.

Yeah, modem test alone shows 1.6gig. Can't get that through my system.

Just put in the brand new Bell Canada fiber modem, and waiting for my speed to go to 1.5g. No change yet, but it works. I supposed somebody has to pull the giant Frankenstein knife switch at the other end...

**Unusual plume pattern** The Pacific plumes are slashing down when they hit NA, and this always brings up the Gulf warm air. Over by Iceland, the plumes are once again penetrating to the North Pole. This breaks up the cold air mass, but pushes cold air elsewhere.

**Snow in Toronto, again** Of course, you won't it reported on Laguard....

**Nothing on cold** As expected, looking at the world through warm-coloured glasses...

**Poland is next** Of course, they have run out of unarmed men to send to the front, maybe they have to round up nasty old ladies with umbrellas.

**The weather always changes** The weather is changing - I say cold, they say hot - to-may-to to-mah-to. However, new areas will suffer drought (and blizzards). This is a good GMO, that never gets into the grain kernels. It's a good moral dilemma for the moralists.

**Pandemic Puppies** In Canada, puppy prices went up a factor of 10. Now we have a market collapse.

**Of soot** This is neat stuff, but very basic physics. The nanoparticles of soot are nastiest stuff in the world, but humans evolved with it, since they invented fire. That's why I always laughed at the nanoparticle doomer stories.

**Wow, we're barely out of bitcoin** and Toronto housing, but the new frenzy has started. Invest in graphics cards...

**LA cold** This is a big 'climate' story, but you won't see it in the leftwinger press...

**Everybody sending their stuff to Ukraine** Lots of money here. The Swedes sent their cheap anti-tank missile, which everybody dismissed as too cheap, and it took down Ruskie tanks like nobody's business.

**Harmonic resonance** Or you could just call it resonance. This is the cause of most failures, because it isn't easy to analyse. I find most people treat it without the laws of physics.

*Engineers with the company and other organizations developed a solution to mitigate “a rare system phenomenon involving harmonic resonance” in the engines, which is expected to clear the way for newly-built F-35s and other affected fighters to fly again, the JPO said in a statement Friday.*
