@bungabeats@gameliberty.club @realcaseyrollins as a gay man as well, I think it’s important to consider that lgbtqia+ people encounters specific challenges that straight people will not. Naming the problem is always the first step towards finding the solution.

The thing is, since lgbt folks are more likely to commit suicide than straight people, then it makes suicide a social justice problem. It’s the same reason why police shooting is a social justice issue, because while white people can get shot by the police too, it significantly happens more to black people.

@realcaseyrollins I think it has to do with the fact that lgbtqia+ folks are more likely to commit suicide because they are less accepted.

Also, the courts should definitively get involved in this by making laws against cyber bullying, and banning conversion therapy, which is plainly atrocious and child abuse.

@narF c’est exactement mon cas. Facebook est une vraie drogue et c’est très mauvais. Je trouve que ça gruge tout ton temps, parce que on y est tellement accro.

Au début, j’ai essayé le temps d’écran mais ça n’a pas fonctionné pour moi car je cliquait tout le temps sur prolonger le temps. Je n’y vais que sur mon ordi et à certains moments précis. Je garde mastodon cependant car comme ce réseau social n’as pas d’algorithmes, je crois être mieux en mesure de me controller et d’utiliser les réseaux sociaux de façon équilibrée.
