So it seems joinmastodon removed QOTO from their directory without cause, without contacting us, and without any discussion or due diligence.

Since this is the only way to actually find QOTO for new users if it isnt reversed soon it could mean the end for our wonderful community.

I have seen a few people on twitter refer to Mastodon as siloed, because we are all on different instances. The thing is that we link between the instances and follow across them, in the web way.
The real silos are the big sites like twitter and Facebook that exist to link you back to themselves and demand special markup from your site for their specific preview.
