This is why I depend on coffee so much. If there's no coffee- I'm not even opening up my eyelids.

Do you have a link to the repo? It's struck my curiosity.

@jessica@mk.absturztau.be
Additionally, here's the perspective from the matrix bridge. It shows you connected at the bottom.

@jessica@mk.absturztau.be
You connected, but now need to be authenticated with the server. Authentication secures your nick.

Your message after the <JessicaFrem> was successful but not read because of the above. Above your message, you can see a list of other connected users like jroc k4mi israel_b . Above the user list is the channels 'topic' which is subject to change at the moderators whim.

Other channels you can join are Linux, geekhack, llamas, and many others- but I don't recall offhand if any do not require authentication because it's a pretty standard thing for everyone to do. You can set up your client to auto-authenicate on startup.

(Politician) >> Encryption is bad. We need to ban it.
<< Why? We need it for basic safety.
>> It's used for illegal activities- so I'm told.
<< Ok, since we're effectively breaking the internet- we should apply this new legislation to other infrastructures.
>> That's right, we should be through!
<< So that means you'll have to declassify and publically release all your military documents and governmental communicae.
>> That's not possible- we need that for national security!

-_- ... Seriously?

@hackernews@die-partei.social
That's a complicated answer. Depends on the project. Bluntly said- no. More accurately- if it's not profitable enough to invest licensing and manpower in- yes.

Life in California is not for the weak of heart or those who plan to survive off part-time minimum-wage jobs.

Or those allergic to wildfires.
