I do handwriting on very personal or important documents. The aesthetic effect is its own reward for me. If it were just notes or a grocery list, I wouldn't have bothered and it'd look like chicken scratch. I've written drunk notes that couldn't be deciphered sober in plain writing- but could be easily read in cursive.

A lot of MiTM attacks too I'd assume. Makes space internet either super slow or super insecure.
@alexandra
Sounds like space internet is only efficient for local content- having a space colony out by Uranus wouldn't hardly bother with Earth news as much as they would near Neptune.
Terrans:: "Damn martians- thinking they're beyond our control just because they've gone several generations without Earth regulated military-backed government!"
"Uh sir, these ones aren't from Mars..."
"I know that! But we can't call them aliens or extraterrestrials! That makes them sound like new intelligent life rather than stupid rebels!"
...is womansplaining a thing?

Prepare the sequel injection! We must drop the database before Xmas Eve!

Time literally went down the drain, eh?

Won't all space communication be via satellite? Assuming owning a satellite would be cheap If made/deployed in space- I imagine space internet would be the final frontier for the internet.

Project of the year 😅
@mur2501
In 20 years this becomes standard for fastfood chains as they display advertisements on the table. Some of the most modern ones then will allow customers to earn coupons or free food for clicking on adverts or filling out information at the table.
Viruses and other malware occur a few years later.
A ongoing rash of people get blackmailed and DOXXED due to hacked tables that record or stream individuals eating and their mistakenly-assumed private conversations.
5years later fastfood places start doing away with behind the counter menus altogether.
10-15 years later, this causes a new trend of 'upscale' establishments to avoid such tech at their tables- as the wealthier patrons value their privacy more than their choice of venue. This is fueled with a distrust for waiters as a recent rash of blackmail crime occured because of opportunistic hacktivists posed as waiters to get dirt in corporate and political leaders.
And the world has then gone full-circle.
