That's been the trend for the last like 4-6 games.
I haven't played Pokemon in years and I don't plan on it any time soon.

It was the holidays and a gesture of good will and generosity. However uncommon it is, it's not unheard of here. Sometimes people dress up as Santa before picking someone at random to pay for them.
it doesn't make sense.

Crossing a controversial barrier in the realm of solar geoengineering, Make Sunsets claims to have launched weather balloons that may have sprayed reflective sulfur particles into the stratosphere.
......
The fact that the firm Make Sunsets seems to have proceeded forward with launches from a facility in Mexico without any public interaction or scientific review troubles scholars who have long researched the technology.
......
“The current state of science is not good enough … to either reject, or to accept, let alone implement solar geoengineering," Janos Pasztor, executive director of the Carnegie Climate Governance Initiative, told MIT Technology Review.
........
Pasztor and others emphasized that Make Sunset's initiatives highlight the urgent need to create widespread oversight and unambiguous guidelines for ethical geoengineering research. These efforts will also help determine whether or under what circumstances there should be a social license to conduct experiments.

I paid for someone's groceries once(they were ahead of me). As the mom was thanking me after i paid. I bought her son a pack of gum as well.
Funny thing, she was initially really pissed at me for invading her space or something as I walked up to the card reader before she could get back to it. Like I was stealing from her or whatever. It wasn't until I pulled my card out and register did it's beeps that I could hear her head clicking into realization of the situation.
I don't do such things that often because of how potentially irate people can be when you try to be nice to them as aforementioned.
I had a coworker tell me once about how he generously paid for a lady's coffee in front of him and she got offended because she thought he was insulting her financial status. "Dude, she was a little old lady- I had no way to tell how much money she had! They all dress the same!" Lol

Did not know you knew gherkin. What else you know?
It's as true for ML as it is for IoT projects. Although considered mainstream and de-facto, it's not actually exclusive. It's a trend I'd wish people would break away from but will likely not change anytime soon.

It's not.

And yet you're here in the Fediverse. Run by Feds. Too late to turn back now- you know about the Federation.

Mein gott!!

The Fediverse was started by and maintained by Federal Agents.
You're beyond the point of being on a list- you've put yourself in a social media holding cell. Good luck escaping- the Fed-iverse will just come after you and all your proprietary hiding spots... You hermit.

Today's random #tarot card from the Druid Craft Tarot deck is the Eight of Pentacles.
A man pours molten metal to forge a pentacle.
This card is about sticking to what you're good at.
If this card appears in the Thoughts/ Decisions row then it can mean ensuring that your decisions are made based on what you know best about; seek information from others who know their field best if outside your speciality.
If this card appears in the Feelings and Emotions row then it can mean doing something for a loved one or friend that you're good at.
If the card appears in the Physical and Material world row then it can mean that any investments or purchases should be in moderation and carefully considered.
(You may interpret the card differently)
Details of the spread I use are on a pinned post.

Every generation gets it wrong by the previous iterations standards. Continuing expectations just furthers the pointless cycle of disappointment.
