@eliasp Actually don't let the bluster fool you, it's his armour. He works closely with the Pentagon and DARPA. So he's clued in and somebody obviously wants this information disseminated. Personally I beleive this is the US starting the process of disengagement from Ukraine. We'll have to see. (Putting my popcorn in the microwave now) lol

I don't think we have a clue what his infrastructure is and if it is an endpoint or not. Sure he does do bluster often, but this totally beleivable since the secret services of NATO are involved in this Ukraine business that there is snooping.
Anyway it'll be interesting what other technofiles say about this. I'm no expert in networking.

@eliasp How does Google know then, they issue comprehensive reports on popular searches too? My understanding of https is that encrypted only in transit, once on the receiving server, then the data can be read by the entity providing the service.

The last sentence is worrisome if true that many in the west don't know how quick armaggeddon (for want of a better word) can be upon us.

US businessman Elon Musk has said that Russia destroyed all forms of communications on the warfront in Ukraine, including space based comms and fibre optic cables, cellphone towers. Elon has stated that he is no longer willing to pay for the maintenance of the Starlink satellite internet system which is the backbone of Ukrainian military operations in Ukraine, this comes after an Ukrainian government official has told Musk to “fuck off” after Musk suggested a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine. Elon’s response as to why he’s no longer willing to pay millions out of his own pocket to maintain the communications systems was that he’s just following the recommendation of the Ukrainian official who told him to “fuck off”.

Elon Musk also said that starlink is subject to massive cyber attacks and jamming from Russia and did not rule out Russia being able to disable starlink on the warfront.

Starlink is the only form of communication that remains accessible and in working condition for the Ukrainian armed forces.

Elon musk has warned his 100+ million followers that “Russia is able to utterly destroy Europe and USA with nuclear missiles within 30 mins and vice versa”, adding “surprisingly a lot of people don’t know that.”
