I would dearly love to host my own 
instance for my own use, but for two reasons:
1. while I like programming in Ruby, I hate looking after web applications written in it; and
2. I’ve already met me, and I don’t fancy administrating myself, knowing what an argumentative shit I can be.

Having been here since 2016, I can tell you there is definitely no such thing as a consensus on usage of content warnings on the fediverse. It's a decentralized network that doesn't belong to any one party, so by definition there is no single culture on it. Different corners have different expectations and customs.

Just boosting that Arkanoid II music reminding me I have all the levels from the first 2 games and one of the later games loading in a #SpectrumNext project with all new SpectNext graphics. I did them a while back. Expect a bunch of projects to be reactivated when my Next arrives, errrm, next year :) Just a few of the baddy sprites missing and the engine to pop in.
