@trystimuli @shauna My previous dog thought eye contact with humans was undogly. The current one will stare us down for treats, working the puppy-dog eyes as hard as she can.

@pcgamer@mastodon.online I finished the game and never met Astarion or Karlach.
Final update: connection with the human restored, and they were able to fix my configuration problem.
Update: the "human" asked for more information about my problem and then ghosted me.
I was able to bypass a (majestically incompetent) customer service chatbot and get what claims to be a human by swearing at it.
The power just flashed so hard my computer switched operating systems.
