Please consider calling for Arabic moderators.
A lot of Arabic queers (and other marginalised groups) are using this platform as a safe space from the aggression we go through on daily basis.
And Arab homophobic users are bringing their hostility to the platform and we shouldn't allow it.

Fediblock should only be used as the nuclear option.
If you use it for things like, "Someone might do a bad thing," then you are diminishing its power.

Has anyone ever investigated whether people (researchers or lay people) are more convinced from pregistered / many labs / many analyst projects compared to "normal" projects?

You are a pain in the ass Jeffrey. And you made a lot of unwanted contact about that situation. So I understand that many people and admins are fed up with that. But... (it's my opinion)
The right to be emotional about, and fight against false accusations, defamation, and unjust treatment, is far more critical than other people's "feeling of peace".
Women can be angry and it's not 'reverse sexism'
Non-cis people can be angry and it's not 'anticisideology'.
POC can be angry and it's 'reverse racism'
And QOTO admin can be angry about unjustified accusations and it's not 'harassment'.

No właśnie po co łamać kopię, jak się psychicznie nie różnią...

Ale trzymajmy jakiś poziom i odnośmy się do metaanaliz, nie do pojedynczych badań, ani też artykułów prasowych ;)
1) Dlaczego to ważne? Bo te "różnice" w budowie mózgu wychodzą inne w jednym badaniu, inne w drugim i więcej jest tutaj statystycznego naciągania niż spójności w wynikach.
2) Różnice w budowie a) nie muszą oznaczać różnic w zachowaniu (i zwykle nie mają znaczenia), b) mogą być nabyte. Vide słynne badanie londyńskich taksówkarzy, u których rozrastała się część mózgu odpowiedzialna za orientację i nie była to zmiana wrodzona a nabyta.
Albo inaczej, różnice w budowie mózgu pomiędzy które mają 160 cm i 190 cm wzrostu są co najmniej kilkanaście większe niż pomiędzy kobietą a mężczyzną o tym samym wzroście. Można się doszukiwać różnic na siłę, a stosowane metody statystyczne na to niestety pozwalają, vide martwy łosoś w FMRI, tylko po co?

To nie jest kwestia interpretacji. W budowie mózgu nie można mówić o specjalnych różnicach.(Kiedyś częściej sądzono, że są, głównie dlatego, że doszukiwano się ich na siłę i używano kiepskich metod, słyszałeś o martwym łososiu w FMRI?)

Pewnie jest jakiś progres... I nie wiem, czy popsują czy nie...
Niestety muszę otworzyć inny wątek. Te "różnice charakteru" to prędzej nasze własne stereotypy dotyczące płci, a nie faktyczne różnice.
@sp6ina @plenartowicz Dobra, odpisuję z tego konta, bo masz bana na lewacki.space i nie widzę Twoich odpowiedzi...
1) Jako badacz nie lubię tego typu zestawień, bo są lekko bez sensu. "Stanowiska kierownicze" to stanowiska kierownicze, tam gdzie mają one taką kategorię GUSowską, czyli głównie w administracji publicznej i oświacie, ergo tam, gdzie jest więcej kobiet generalnie. Więc niewiele to mówi. Przy czym, nie mamy też innych dobrych badań na temat szklanego sufitu w Polsce, to jest on zauważalny (1).
2) Uciekając od polskiej perspektywy, jest dużo badań eksperymentalnych i quasi eksperymentów pokazujących silny bias. Nie będę Ci tu robił review, bo to nie na to miejsce, ale rzuć okiem chociaż na to: https://www.nber.org/papers/w5903
3) Nie wiem czy parytety to dobre rozwiązanie. Znam wiele kobiet, które chcą walczyć ze szklanym sufitem, ale również mówią że "nie w taki sposób". Tylko proszę, nie udawajmy, że nie ma problemu.
